"Don't hesitate to call me please. I pick up in promise." Colby talked as I a gathered my things. "Colby, I'm going to hang out with sam not go on a date, calm down." I close my locker.

"I know but I still don't trust him, also Alyssa is trying to talk to me, i feel like they are up to something ."  Colby grabbed my hip pulling my toward him. I just smile. "What?" He raised his eyebrows. "It's cute when you worry about me." I smile again.

"Oh. Is it." He got snarky. "Is it really." He continued I giggled against his lips, pulling him in for a little four seconds kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow." Colby bit his lip, I nodded. I walked away and out to the front of the school where i saw Sam waiting. I got in the car. "Hey" I said nervously.

"Ready?" He questioned. "Mhm." I put my bag under my feet. He pulled out of the school. "So where are we going?" I ask. "You'll see" Sam turned up the radio a bit.

"I love surprises." I said sarcastically. "Totally missed that attitude." Sam chuckled. Eventually he pulled into a parking lot, it was empty. "Where are we?" I asked. "Come." He got out the car. I got out to. I followed him as he walked through a path. A field of flowers was revealed. "This is cute." I smiled, I followed behind him as he payed down a blanket. He sat down patting it, motioning for me to sit down.

I sat down next to him. "So, how are you and Alyssa?" I ask staring at the sunset. "We broke up, she told me she only dated me to get back at Colby, and you see where that got her, single." Sam laughed.

"Yeah. I mean sorry for you but you kinda deserved it." I shrugged looking at him. "Ouch, ruthless." Sam held his heart laughing I giggled. "Yeah I guess I did." Sams focus went back to the sky.

"So you and Colby. He never really seemed like your type." Sam said. "He's not, I mean yeah I guess." Sam looked at me confused. "Well we aren't actually dating, at first we faked everything until I slept with him and then it kept happening so now we are friends with benefits and I-" I turned to Sam realizing I blurted out everything.

"Shit!" I yell. "I wasn't supposed to tell you." I girn my teeth. Sam grabbed my face pulling me into a kiss. I pull away shocked. "You said you weren't together right?" Sam questions. I nod. "Then it doesn't matter who you kiss." He smiled. I pulled him back into a kiss. He put his hand on my hip, pulling me on top of him. He grabs both my hips, as he leans back laying back on the blanket.

I move my lips to his neck, kissing softly. He pulls me away connecting our lips together again. He held the back of my head as we made out.

Maybe we moved a little to fast but it was harmless. It didn't mean anything. But why do I feel bad, I feel hurt not for me but for Colby.

"I think I should get home." I get off his lap. "Yeah probably." Sam smiled. I stood up as he picked up the blanket. We went back to the car. He started the car and left the parking lot.

A few minutes later he pulled into my driveway. He stopped the car. "I had fun with you today." He smiled. "Yeah me too." I grabbed my bag. "Hey since you still technically single, do you think I can take you on a date, and try again maybe." Sam asked. I stuttered for a second but gave in. "Yeah, I'd like that."

"Great." Sam pulled me in for another kiss. I pulled away. "All right we'll good night." I smile getting out the car. I watch as he back out the driveway leaving.

Shit! No, I can't go on a date with Sam, I like Colby. But maybe if I do go on the date then I'll get over Colby.

I sigh and walk in the house. My mom tried to talk to me but I ignored her and went to my room. I shut the door behind me. "Katie!" My mom called my name, she knocked on the door. I opened.

"Wow you learned how to knock, shocker. What?" I look at her. "I'm going out with some...friends. I'll be back around 10. No party, n-" I stopped her. "K. Cool have fun." I shut the door.  "Love you" I hear her through the door. I take off my clothes and grab a towel walking into the bathroom. I turn on the shower. I wait for the water to heat up. I look in the mirror and see Colby's marking, there was only one left but it was faded, wasn't really purple anymore it was more of a light red.

I hang my towel up and step in the shower. I let the water hit my cold body. I grab the shampoo and put it in my hair. I wash it out. I grab the conditioner also washing my hair with it. I grab my body wash and clean my body. I shave.

I then just sat down. I leaned my head against the shower wall. I sipped my face sitting under the water. I finally stood up and got out the shower.
