Chapter 26

"God I hate running the mile" I say out of breath sitting down at our lunch table. Emily sits down, "I just walk it." She laughs. I nod, chugging my water. I hear someone sit down, I see Colby. "Hey" I smile. "Sup. Why the hell you so sweaty." He looks me up and down then to my shakey legs. "Let's just say running and shakey legs don't mix" I catch my breathe. "Wait did y'all fuck this morning?" Emily look at me.

I choked on my water, coughing. "Doesn't matter." Colby put his lips together. I put my hand on my chest. "Yeah. Doesn't matter" I look at Emily. Then Jake and kat sit down. "Hey baby" Emily says hugging Jake, he puts her arm around her, kissing her lips. "Y'all make me feel single, oh my god, I just realized I am the only single one." Kat sighs taking a bite of her food.

I look at Colby who was covering his mouth trying not to laugh. I look into his eyes then away, flicking him off but playing it off by scratching my nose.

He chuckles. He places his hand on my inner thigh. "Oh my god. Katie have you seen Mikes new post" Emily hands me her phone.

"Holy shit" my eyes widen. "Damn" I hand her back the phone. "Who's mike" Colby looks at me.  "Someone" I look at Colby. "Why?" I ask.

"Nothing" he rolls his eyes, taking a sip of his drink. "Are you jealous?" I whisper, Colby puts his hand back on my thigh this time squeezing it. "Hell yeah I am," he whispered into my ear. "Your mine, only mine" he slid his hand up my thigh, to my hip, he pulled my body close.

"No I'm not. Friends." I make eye contact with him. "With benefits" his lips touched mine as he talked. I ran my thumb over his lips. I connect my lips to his. He pulled away. "God. You make me so fvcking horny" he pulled away whispering as his hands covered his erection. I smirk at him. "I don't know what just happened or what y'all were saying but that was hot." Emily looked back and fourth between me and Colby. I smirk at him, looking down at his lap.

"I'm going to 4th. Bye" I say, putting my hand on Colby's erection. He groaned a bit. "Bye" his hand held his erection, as he covered his mouth. I laugh walking away.

I walk in sitting down. Sam sits next to me. I don't even bother to look at him, "why are you sitting next to me?" I ask. "I wanna talk" he whispered. "K. Talk."

"Can we please just pretend to like each other for 4 days, then you can go back to hating me." Sam ask.

"Fine but only if you don't talk to me during school, also I swear to god Sam if you try anything, if you lay a fucking finger on Colby." I say sternly. "Understood. Shake on it" Sam turns to me and turn to him shaking his hand.

"Alright class pull out your books and open them to page 152" the teacher says.

Mid class I hear my phone ding. "Whoever's phone that is please put that in silence" mrs. Brook yells. I take out my phone opening it. I hide it in my book.

I bite my lip, smirking. I look over at Sam who was watching what I was texting. "Stop being nosy" I roll my eyes. "Are you gonna go?" Sam asked. "That's non of your business" I ignore Sam and text Colby back.

"So are we doing to project at my house?" Sam asked. "No. Mine" I put my phone away.

I stand up walking out the classroom. I go to my locker grabbing my stuff. "Hey" Colby grabbed my hand. "Sup?" I asked pulling out my things. "So..do you need a ride to your house?" He asked. "Yeah, if you don't mind." I close my locker zipping up my bag.

Colby nods. Putting his arm over my shoulder as we walk out to school together. "Sam and kat are coming over later so we'll have to make our thing quick."

"Perfect" Colby whispered.
