Chapter 50

I put my gym clothes away. I grabbed my water bottle and a piece of gum, I put the gum in my mouth and sat down at a table, it wasn't the usual table where the group sits, I sat by myself.

I watched as people gathered into the lunch room.

I feel like Colby deserves better, he's a good guy, he didn't deserve what I did. Even though he slept with Alyssa, I'm to blame. I went on a date with Sam. I hurt Colby.

I sat quietly, biting my nails, bouncing my leg. I saw Emily and Jake talking from afar. He hugged her. I smiled slightly. A year fell from my eye. My breaths began shaking. I took a sip of my water.

I took my vape from my pocket and put it in my sleeve. Taking a hit from it, ghosting the smoke.

More tears fell from my eyes, I laid my head in my hands. Pulled my bracelet from my wrist letting it hit it, I did it a couple times before I heard the bell.

I go to my locker and grab my binder. "Hey.. me and Jake a-" Emily stopped at the sight of the bit if mascara on my face. "Oh my god" she pulled me into a hug. I wasn't the type to cry.

She held me tightly. "Cmon let's go to the bathroom and get you cleaned up." Emily pulled me through the hallway. She opened the bathroom door. She walked me over the the sink, wetting a paper towel she wiped my face, the rubbed over it again with her thumb making sure everything was gone.

"Hey how you come with me and Jake, we're going to go see what the baby looks like, we'll the size he is I guess." She smiled. "Your keeping it?" I asked. "Uhm yeah." I smiled at her response.

"Jake agreed to help out even if it's not his." She smiled. I hug her tightly. "Good I'm happy for you" I pulled from the hug. "Alright Cmon let's get your stuff so we can go.

"Agh I'm so excited." Emily giggled. We walked inside the doctors and they gave us a wait time.

It took about 30 minutes but they finally called us. We walked in the room, the lady rubbed some stuff in her stomach and puts the wand on her stomach, as the ultra sound showed on a screen.

"Oh my god" Jake huffed, "look" he smiled, Emily's hand was in Jakes. I smiled, "so your about 18 weeks right now." The doctor said. "Wow." Emily looked at me smiling, I smiled back.

I could t stop thinking about Colby, we're young, I'm not even and adult yet and I feel like this for someone, I shouldn't. I told myself I wouldn't.

I'll be fine, I'll make it through.

Emily received her pictures and we left. "So is your mom okay with this all?" I asked Emily, "Uhm well she was mad at first but she is giving her support, she said she'll be there if I need anything." Smile looked at me through the mirror.

"Want me to drop you off at your house?" Emily asked. "Yeah" I smiled, she smiled back pulling into my neighborhood. She pulled into my driveway. "Her you go love" she gave me one of her pictures, "keep it, it'll remind you your going to be an aunt." Emily smiled, I gave a small one back.

"Oh and her Jake" I handed him back his skateboard. "Shit I've been looking for this, thanks" he laughed. "Yeah" I giggled, "love your Emily thanks for letting me tag along. "Of course, and I love you" she unlocked the door and I got out the car walking into my houses
