Alex's POV
It's been about a week since the accident happened, and dad suspects foul play since Tyler's car had multiple things tampered with. They picked up some fingerprints, and first scanned for anyone in the system then planned to get a warrant for all the students, teachers, and staffs fingerprints. Whoever this was would not be getting away with it.

Bella started her affairs and to my surprise (not) one of her lovers was Waylon Forbes. I just ducked my head and ignored it wanting no more drama than I already had on my plate.

Jacob had taken care of me the entire week that I was out. I think we were entering the more than friends zone, but I also had feelings for Edward which was stupid because we only talked once! My last relationship was literally my stepdad, and now I was pregnant with hormones racing through my body like race cars on crack.

I was snapped out of my thoughts abruptly when a random teenage boy approached me.

The biology classes were in the bus driveway getting ready to go on a field trip to the Forks National Greenhouse Museums. I was waiting to be assigned my bus when some guy approached me with a smirk on his face.

"Hey, Alexandria! So your sister Bella let me in on your little secret," he began making me frown in confusion. What did you do now Bella? "She told me that you have a little crush on me. Well, you're in luck cause I'm asking you to prom!" He said in the most arrogant voice I've ever heard. Til this day I still blame the hormones on what was said next.

"Excuse me? But who the fuck are you?" His smirk faded and he looked shocked "Uh- Mike, Mike Newton?" "Well 'Mike Newton' since you clearly haven't been informed. I'm currently pregnant with twin and only have two goals in mind and that's bringing my precious babies into the world safely, and graduating high school. It's not dealing with hormonal teenage boys like yourself. And sense you're either blind or oblivious Bella and I have no relationship because she chooses to be a hateful person. So she wouldn't know if I had a crush on someone or if I was married! Going back to your blindness and idioticty the only girl who is interested in you for more than a one night fucking is Jessica Stanley. I'm not even friends with her and I know that!"

I took a deep breath and continued "So how about you turn around, and do Jessica a favor and take her to prom. Ya know the girl who actually knows that you exist!" Mike looked stunned "Alexandria! Bus 424!" Mr. Molina called "Coming!" I called back and glared at Mike as I passed him to get to my bus. Fuck him, and fuck Bella too. If she thinks that she can continue to push me around and bully me to get her way she's got another thing coming.

I flopped into the seat, and adjust myself into a more comfortable position. Someone suddenly sat by me and my eyes snapped up to see Edward with an amused smirk on his face "You really laid into Newton. He's asking Jessica to prom with his tail between his legs" he snickered quietly. I let out a groan "I was such a bitch! These hormones are gonna make me do something regretful" Edward shook his head "You were being honest to a pompous jerk. He needed to be put in his place, I was actually about to swoop in and save you, but you're no damsel."

"How did you even hear that conversation across the lot?" I muttered quietly to myself. I turned to him and said "Let's talk about something else, distract me from going off on Bella next" "What do you want to know?" He asked sounding a little nervous "Tell me everything that I don't know about you" I smiled which he returned. He started by telling me about his birth parents and how he got adopted by Carlisle and Esme. Along with how his siblings got adopted and wound up dating.

Though somethings seemed fabricated, or didn't add up. I didn't question it. If he wanted to tell me he would. We arrived at the Green Houses and we stuck together with him still explaining his cousins in Denali. He had an aunt and an uncle Carmen and Eleazer who lived with Carlisle's cousins Tanya, Irina, and Kate who lost their mother a long time ago and saw Carlisle as an older brother.

I quickly learned that he valued his family even though he didn't tell them that enough.

Suddenly Bella stormed up to me and got in my face "What the hell?! You rejected Mike! You made me look like an idiot!" "Well if you hadn't told Mike that I liked him then you wouldn't look like an idiot" I snarked. Bella shrieked catching the attention of a few nearby students "You bitch!" Bella went to shove me, but I grabbed her hands and yanked them to the sides.

"Never put your hands on me again Isabella Marie," I said deathly calm. "I have other things to worry about other than your petty attention seeking ass. If you continue your behavior I will go to dad, and file a complaint. Don't forget that this was your final chance from the courts. You will go to jail and you will rot just like Renee. Don't push it Bella, I'm done being your punching bag for when things don't go your way." I shoved her away from me and she stumbled back looking shocked before a look of anger appeared on her face. She started to storm up to me again, but Edward shove me behind him.

"Back away, Isabella. My family are real close to filing a restraining order. Do not force our hand" He said. Bella scoffed and stormed off. He stepped aside and reached for my hand. He intertwined our fingers and I sighed tired from the whole ordeal. "What was that about 'final chance from the courts'?" He asked I sighed again and leant against him. He undid our fingers and wrapped an arm around my waist. His thumb rubbed circles on my navel below where my hand rested.

I explained Bella's history, and apologized for her behavior "You probably should file a restraining order. Bella won't stop until she has what she wants" he nodded "We'll do that. Don't apologize for her actions, okay? Bella is not your responsibility" I nodded. "I would like to ride home with you, if you don't mind. I don't trust Bella alone with you. Plus we can study for that biology test next week together?" I smiled and nodded.

Afterwards we went home together, and Edward stayed until dad got home. Bella hadn't been there for half the time that Edward was. She most likely went to Waylon's to blow off some steam. When Bella got home she was all over Edward. To his credit he ignored her until she tried to kiss him then he said that she reeked of sex and that he didn't want her to touch him.

She ran upstairs to shower after that while I snickered.
