(At dinner, a week after Casita Madrigal has been rebuilt)

Zarita POV

"So I've been meaning to ask," Julieta turns to her younger sister. "Why did you come back?"

"Well I've been living in Ecuador, practicing my powers, making sure I wouldn't make any mistakes."

Pepa gave Abuela a dirty look.

"But I felt my power draining? I'm not sure what it was." I continued.

"It was the casita's magic failing," Camilo tells me.

"Yes smart guy I've got that figured out," I give him an unamused look and he shrugs his shoulders. "So I figured something was wrong with the casita, the encanto. So I decided to go home to see if you were in trouble."

"Wait, when I fell from the roof, I noticed there were bricks and stones that helped protect me along with chairs," Mirabel tells her aunt. "The bricks and walls of the Casita don't have as much magic. Was that you?"

"Yes it was. I saw the casita falling and I saw you sacrificing your life for that dam-dang candle. You look a lot like Julieta when she was younger so I instantly knew who you were. The chairs and drawers probably wouldn't have made it to you in time if I hadn't have given them a little push. But then as things were falling I became weak as I shouldn't have used my powers, and I didn't notice a rock that had fallen on my leg, thus leading to the bleeding."

"Well thank you, for saving my daughter's life, Zarita," Agustin turn's to me.

"No problem, she's family," I smile back.

"Can we see your power?" Antonio asks me with a grin. I nodded and told them to follow me outside. Once we were I scanned the scenery before closing my eyes. I started picturing things flying and imagined them where I wanted them to go. I heard gasps around me but kept my concentration till my masterpiece was complete.

I opened my eyes and there in front of me was a wagon. On top of the wagon was a barrel. On top of the barrel was a crate. And on top of the crate was one concerned donkey. I then looked at Antonio and winked at him before using my power to lift him onto the donkeys back. He giggled before I put everything down. As soon as Antonio got off the donkey it ran away frightened.

"That was fun," he giggled. I bent down and picked him up and put him on my shoulders. I then started running around with him while he laughed.

"Careful with my son Zarita!" Pepa exclaimed. I spun around one more time super fast before I put him down. He tried walking straight but failed and fell down giggling.

"Don't worry Pep, I wouldn't hurt him. He's too precious." I tell her and she rolls her eyes but ends up smiling.

After I spend more time with my siblings, meeting my brothers-in-law, and playing around with my nieces and nephews I go up to my room. I look and open the door. Inside I see boulders, balls, about anything you could practice lifting all lined up against the far wall with my bed and dresser on the other side of the room.

'This is boring,' I think. Time to redecorate. I lift the rocks and all the items and end up making a fort. I walk inside and adjust where I put my bed. Now I lived in a cave. Just like Bruno, except mine was more homey. His was plain scary. Suddenly I see flowers peaking through all the rocks as I see a vine chandelier hanging from the top. I look to my door to see Isabela standing there. I wave her in.

"I like what you did with it," I tell her. She smiles at me before sitting on my bed. "Is there anything you needed Isa?"

"Not really, I just wanted to check in on you." She tells me.

"So I heard you just escaped a marriage," I look over at her. She laughs a bit then nods. "Smart. Men are scary."

"I'm just waiting for the right one I guess," she sighs. I grab her hands.

"Don't worry, when the time comes, you'll find him, or her," I tell her with a wink. "Trust me I believe it will all work out for you." She gives me a hug.

"Thank you Tia Zarita," she whispers. I like the sound of that. Tia Zarita. We ended up talking for the rest of the night, about her life and then about mine. I ran away and while I don't regret it, it helped shape me into who I am today, I am glad to be home.
