Chapter 17

~Claire~

I hastily ran after Niall. I gasped for air as I sprinted down the halls and down the stairs. I ran outside and saw his large torso.

"Niall! Niall wait!" I shouted but he didn't stop. I ran up to him and forced him to look at me. Hs angry expression weakened lightly.

"Please." I said gasping for air.

"Dont." I said with my last breath

He sighed in defeat.

"One chance." he said through clenched teeth. I sighed.

"I have to go to school if you don't have anything important to do." I said to him calmly.

~Niall~

I don't know what's gotten into me since I started dating Claire. Ive become so violent. When she said she had to go to school, I felt my fist clench.

I had to stop being over protective. I owed her that.

"Fine." I said shortly. She have me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. My stomache exploded when she touched me.

This is why I love her.

~Claire~

I rushed into art since I already missed 1st period. Daniel sat waiting with a nervous grin. I gave him a short, nervous wave and got out my sketch pad.

"Hey." he said nervously.

"Hi." I said walking over to a new spot, ignoring my old seat by Daniel. Niall wouldn't like that.

"Hey! I'm claire!" I said to the girl I sat by.

"Hi. I'm sharon." she said shaking my hand.

After a while, I began to like her a lot. She was really funny and crazy, much like me.

"Bye!" I said when it was the end of the period.

"Text ya later!" she said waving. I turned around to become face to face with daniel.

"oh hey." I said nervously. He opened his mouth to say something but I saw Niall waiting outside since he usually picks me up.

"Well bye." I said waving an running off.

"Hey."I greeted Niall. He smiled and hugged me before I got in his car.

~Sharon~

Meeting Claire was nice. She was really sweet and I could see us being friends.

I started walking down the hallway and suddenly stopped.

Daniel.

I nervously ran a hand through my hair and started walking.

"Hey Daniel." I said smiling warmly.

"Hey." he said sadly.

"What's wrong." I said sitting down, quickly followed by him.

"Her." he said motioning to someone outside.

Claire?!

"Why can't she just see that I love her. I've known her longer than that jerk anyway." he said angrily.

Oh.

He likes her.

I felt the tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Bye." I said, my voice cracking. I stood up an started walking which turned into a run to my car.

I slammed the door shut and began to sob.

I quickly texted Claire.

'hey! Can we hang out? I need some girl time?:('

I sent it and lay back in my chair.

'Sure. Anything:)'

She replied quickly. I smiled to myself. It's good to have friends like her.
