Chapter 12

I stared blankly at the television. Brittany grabbed the remote and flicked off the show before I could see anything else.

"Claire, calm down."

"Their just lying."

"It's just some silly show."

They all tried to calm me down but I couldn't think straight. Was this true? I felt the tears start to pour out of my eyes as I ran into my room and plopped down on my bed, breaking down into sobs.

I heard the front door open and slam and feet running.

"Where is she?" I heard Niall ask. I stood up and was about to lock my door when he opened it to see my tear stained face.

"Claire I-" he started but I cut him off.

"Stop. Just stop. How could you do this to me." I choked out. He looked up at me and opened his mouth to say something but I slammed the door shut.

I stared at the fake host as she showed the crowd the obviously fake pictures.

"So, care to explain." she said leaning forward in her seat.

"I'm madly in live with Claire, and it's obvious those photos are fake. You should get a better editing team." I said standing up an walking away.

I got a text and pulled out my phone.

Brittany: Hurry! Claire saw the interview and it's not good:(

It took me a few seconds to process what was happening before I started sprinting to her flat. I ran inside and asked were she was. The girls signaled to her room and I sprinted to her door. I opened it to see my favorite face in the world, soaked in tears.

"Claire, I-" but she cut me off. I can't explain how much it hurt to see her like this. I wanted to explain that the whole thin was fake but she slammed the door in my face.

I walked outside where the boys were waiting.

"She didn't listen." I choked out falling on the floor.

I pulled Brittany away while Niall was talking to Claire.

"She's really upset." said Brottany sadly.

"I have an idea." I smirked.

"Oh no."
