Chapter 19

~Claire~

Our principal left us all alone. In a room. Or the whole night. This can't be good. I walked up to the huge canvas we would be painting on and pulled out some brushes.

Sharon followed m example and soon Daniel joined.

We painted in awkward silence for a while, which wasn't exactly comfortable.

"Sooo" I said makin things even more awkward.

"Soooo" Sharon and Daniel both said at the same time. I pulled out my Iphone, setting down my brush, and put my IPod on shuffle.

One Direction, Heart Attack.

Of course Niall would put his album on my phone without my permission.

I rolled my eyes and continued painting.

"Do we have to listen to this?" Daniel said through gritted teeth.

"Calm down." I giggled. I started dancing around to make the situation less awkward. I stroked the canvas and did a little twirl, followed by me landing on my butt. The two of them started crying in laughter.

"Shutup." I grumbled, standing up and brushing off my bum. I stuck my tongue out at them and suddenly Viva La Vida by Coldplay started playing. I smiled and began painting with much more emotion since this song influenced me.

Daniel took the paint brush out of my hand and suddenly before I knew it, I was dancing.

Usually I would be ok with this. But he admitted he liked me, and Sharon was right there. I pulled away and started to think of an excuse.

"I-I-I have to go t-to the b-bathroom." I stuttered running out of the room an slamming the door. I ran down the hall and into the bathroom. I splashed some water on my face and gasped.

"Why me?" I said out loud.

Why me?

I was put on a room with a girl I liked for my whole life and the girl I told myself I liked so I would get over the first girl. Dot get me wrong! Claire is amazing, but Sharon has been my crush for forever.

I have had an urge to make Sharon jealous ever since I walked in this room and I have failed.

I tried dancing with Claire and she ran away. I smiles nervously at Sharon and began painting.

why didn't I ever told her. I need to. I really like her and it would be best. I ran a hand nervously through my hair.

"We need to talk." i said at the same time Sharon said.

"You first." she said with a small grin.

I took a deep breath.

"I really like you Sharon. I have always been too scared to tell you but not anymore. I think I'm in love with you an I need you to know that. Please tell me the truth on how you feel about this." I said all in one breath.

And then she.. Smiled?

I walked out of the bathroom and checked my phone.

I sighed. I need to keep avoiding them. I walked into the music room and sighed happily. I walked up to the piano and started playing When I Look At You by Miley Cyrus.

"Everybody needs inspiration." I started singing with the keys.

"Everybody needs a song. A beautiful melody, when the nights so long." I sand sweetly. Then the music started to pick up.
