'Tomorrow, I'm going to die'

"What a great way to start a new chapter."

Archie sarcastically remarked with a groan.

The screen just turned on for another new scene and yet this is the greeting they get.

Honestly, at this point, he was more surprised at how he still gets shocked from these shits.

It's late at night, and Rok Soo is taking a stroll on the empty road of the second City of Life instead of sleeping.

When the evening hit, Super Rock and the others finally returned to him and apologized for making that decision in his place.

That being said, Rok Soo knows that it was not their fault. It was Crybaby's decision in the first place.

"And it's not like he's completely disappeared."

He had told them.

Crybaby's voice could no longer be heard. But his power flows completely within him, Embedded within his soul.

Rok Soo is not a stranger to the world 'sacrifice'. After all, he has been both as someone who's willing to do so and as the person at the receiving end.

Which is why, now that he has more level-headed rationality, he could blame no one nor he should be sad.

"I'm grateful"

He really does.

But all these talks made him queasy.

Restless, he couldn't fall asleep, so, after making sure that the children were tucked asleep in their room, Rok Soo opted to wander to this desolate area instead.

Letting his mind and emotions flow naturally whilst basking in the coldness of the night.

'Too bad, I can't see the sky'

Since this place is unfinished and technically goes deeper underground than the main city, what waits above him would be a ceiling out of sand and dirt rather than the starry night.

The scene is peaceful and just quiet for once.

Their Hero-nim looked relaxed despite how they all knew from the description that his mind still moves as fast as it has always been.

Rok Soo put his hand into one of his pockets where a small container could be felt, round on his palm, fitting of one capsule only.

It was something that he had been asking Rei to create.

The capsule within the container he's fiddling with right now contains a 'lethal' poison that would kill him Tomorrow.

This item...

'He told me that when he tested on himself he passed out for a good 2 hours.'

His assistants freaked out for a bit, but upon closer look, his breath only slowed down while his pulse was still there.

Rei thought of it as a success because at some point his assistant even reported him to be dead.

But for Rok Soo?

"It's a failure."
