~ Chapter 15 ~

~ Jae' POV ~

Romeo, Mia, and I just got back to the packhouse. We are heading up to the conference room to fill in what I have found out. Once we enter the room Jaxon and Jaylon have this worried look on their face. They tell us to sit down cuz they need to tell us all something before I tell them what I found out. I take my seat on the other side of Jaxon.

Jaxon ~ Now that you are all here I need to tell you all what I just found out. When Jaylon and I were talking with my dad he told us that our family is royalty. I'm the new Alpha King of all the werewolves. My father told us that he kept it a secret to protect us but as you can see that didn't work too well.

Romeo ~ Holy fucking shit why didn't dad tell us sooner?

Jaylon ~ Giovanni was hoping that no one would find out that Jaxon is the Alpha King.

Axton ~ Damn so now we know why Kole is trying to take over.

Lorenzo ~ Kole must think that if he takes over and takes you out he will be the new Alpha King.

Jaxon ~ Yes but it doesn't work that way. If something happens to me before my children can rule then Romeo would be the one to take my place until my children can.

Romeo ~ What happens if I don't want to take over?

Jaxon ~ Then Jaylon would take over if he wants to once he is my mate and Jae would either become the Queen again or she will remain the Queen.

Romeo ~ Okay then that's settled if something happens to you then Jaylon will take over and Jae will remain the Queen. I don't want that type of power I will remain as the Beta that's if Jaylon wants me to be.

Jaylon ~ Thanks Romeo and I wouldn't have anyone else as my Beta.

Axton ~ I got a question Jaylon why wouldn't you want your Beta/right-hand man by your side?

Jaylon ~ I do have my Beta/right-hand man by my side.

Axton ~ How when he's not here?

Romeo ~ Axton, I'm also his and Jaxon' Beta and, Jaxon and I are both his right-hand men.

Lorenzo ~ Wow that's amazing. So you both have combined everything.

Jae ~ Yes they have. Okay, so now that we all know my mate is the all mighty Alpha King can we please talk about what I found out.

Jaxon ~ Haha sure baby girl. So what did you find out?

Jae ~ Well Kole is planning to attack in a month. He is going to attack the next full moon.

Jaxon ~ So we have a month to get ready.

Axton ~ Lorenzo and I with our men will stay here and train with you all.

Brian ~ I will do the same. I'll have my father look after my pack. Jae, you and I will need to practice our magic just in case we need to use it.

Jae ~ Okay bro.

Jaxon ~ We will all start training tomorrow right now let's just hang out and relax.

Jae ~ Sounds good to me. Now let's head home I'll make us all dinner.

Mia ~ I'll help you with dinner if you want?
