~ Mirabella' POV ~

My husband is a very stubborn man. Yes, he doesn't believe in our kind having a mate that is not a wolf. I'm happy that Mia is my daughter-in-law I'm also happy Jae is also my daughter-in-law. Yes, I know Jae and Jaxon are not married and they probably won't legally be married. I know my sons and Jaxon will be legally married to Jaylon when that time comes. Jaylon was and is Jaxon' first love I knew this way before Jaxon did. I let the children know that I will be right back and I get up and go find my husband. When I find him he is outside on the porch looking up at the sky.

Mirabella ~ Gio my love what's going on in that head of yours?

Giovanni ~ I want to be happy for my children but I don't think I can. My grandfather and my father have always put it in my head that we should only be with our kind. I want to get to know Mia and Jae is a wonderful woman but I just can't. How can I let all this go before I lose my children?

Mirabella ~ I know this is going to be hard for you. You just need to take one step at a time and take things slow. Just get to know Mia she is a wonderful and strong woman. Jae you have known her for a while now her being part witch doesn't change that. Your boys love you and they always will but they will pick their mates over you any day.

Giovanni ~ I know and that scares the fucking shit out of me. What if it's already too late? Fuck I'm a fuck up and a bad father.

Mirabella ~ You're not a fuck up or a bad father. Gio you still have time to change your ways but you need to start now. I will be there with you every step of the way. Gio I know you have it in you to change and I know you will accept Mia and Jae as your daughters. Now you need to get your stubborn ass back in there and make this right.

Giovanni ~ Okay let's go and I'm sorry for how I acted.

Mirabella ~ I know you are but you need to tell your children that.

We walk back into the dining room and we both take our seats.

Giovanni ~ Mia, Jae I want to apologize for how I've been acting. I know it was wrong but my grandfather and father have always drilled it into my head that we wolves should only be with wolves. I'm going to try and be more open about this and I'm going to try and get to know you Mia only if you will let me.

Mia ~ Giovanni, I accept your apology and yes I would love for you to get to know me.

Jae ~ Mr. Keller I also accept your apology.

Giovanni ~ Thank you both. I will work harder at being a better person.

Romeo ~ Thanks dad this means a lot to me.

Jaxon ~ Yes thanks, dad.

Giovanni ~ You are both very welcome.

Mirabella ~ So Jaxon which one of your mates has already marked you?

Jaxon ~ Mom you already know the answer to that question.

Mirabella ~ You're right I do. So Jae when are you and my son going to become a fully mated couple?

Jae ~ Soon I hope.

Mirabella ~ Can I ask why you haven't already?

Jae ~ I was not fully ready cuz I had some doubts.
