~ Chapter 9 ~

~ Jaxon' POV ~

It's been a few weeks now and I still haven't talked to Jae. I know I need to talk to her but I still can't look at her without getting upset. Jaylon and I started the process of the adoption for a baby girl and a baby boy. We have also started looking into a surrogate we have a few that we like but we want to make sure before we pick one. Jaylon has also been telling Jae everything that has been going on. When he told her about the surrogate she was pissed off but then acted like she was fine with it. I know she's not but if she doesn't want to have my children then I can't force her to. I'm sitting in my office trying to figure out how to take Kole down. We haven't had any more attacks but we know that he's not going to stop. He wants my territory but we can't figure out why. As I'm sitting here I hear someone knock at the door.

Jaxon ~ Come in.

Mia ~ Hey could we talk?

Jaxon ~ Sure what's up?

Mia ~ It's about Romeo. He has been acting strange the last couple of weeks. I was wondering if you knew what was going on with him?

Jaxon ~ I do. He did come to talk to me about what is bothering him. Mia, he loves you with everything he has. He wants to start a family with you but he is scared that you won't make it. Our kind doesn't have a normal pregnancy it's a lot fast than a human. I tried to tell him that you are strong and you will be just fine right along with the pup. Romeo hasn't stopped thinking about it since that is why he is acting strange.

Mia ~ I know all about the werewolf pregnancy. When I found out that Romero was a werewolf I did some research. Jaxon he needs to know that even in a human pregnancy anything could happen. Plus I'm pretty sure if anything was going to happen to me the moon goddess would have never made me Romeo' mate.

Jaxon ~ I know all of this but he is just scared. Try and talk to him tonight and tell him everything that could happen even in human pregnancy. This might help ease his mind a bit.

Mia ~ Thanks J and I will talk to him tonight. Have you talked to Jae yet?

Jaxon ~ You're welcome M. No I haven't I want to but then again I don't want to just in case she pisses me off. I don't want to say something that I would regret later on.

Mia ~ J when you talk to her just tell her how you feel. Don't hide anything from her even if it's going to hurt her in the long run. All she wants is for you to talk to her and when you do just be honest. No relationship is perfect so we all have our ups and downs with our partners. All we can do is work it out with them and hope for the best outcome.

Jaxon ~ Okay I'll try and talk to her tonight. I already know I'm not going to like it but you are right. We all have our ups and downs and we need to try and fix things before it's too late.

Mia ~ I'll let you get back to work now. I'll let you know how it goes with your brother.

Jaxon ~ Okay and I'll let you know how it goes with Jae.

Mia~ See you later.

Jaxon ~ Later.

Mia left and I get back to work. I sit here managing the pack's finances when I hear a knock on the door.

Jaxon ~ Come in.

Jae ~ Sorry to bother you but could we talk?
