~ Chapter 43 ~

~ Romeo' POV ~

I have been working on trying to find out what the fuck Lucky has planned. I have sent a few people undercover to get close to Lucky. Right now, I'm heading to meet Marco he got ahold of me and asked if we could meet up and chat. I haven't told Jax or anyone that I'm meeting Marco. My brother has been so stressed out lately, and I will do anything to help him out. Marco and I are meeting at a local coffee shop. I pull up to the coffee shop. I park my car and get out. I walk into the coffee shop, and I look around once I spot Marco. I go to the counter and order. When my order is ready, I take it, and I go have a seat across from Marco.

Romeo ~ Hello Marco, how are you?

Marco ~ Hey, I'm doing good. How are you?

Romeo ~ I'm good. So what did you want to discuss?

Marco ~ Well, I have found out that Lucky is planning an attack on your pack. He plans to attack at the end of the month. Lucky is planning to kill everyone who could take over as Alpha King, so that means you are on his list as well. He is putting an army of rogues together to help him and his pack out.

Romeo ~ We did know about the attack at the end of the month. We ended up taking out a few of the men he sent. One told us everything he knew, and he is now helping us and the others. Let's just say Jax and Ax had a great time killing them. Did you, by chance, find out why he is doing all this? There has to be more to it than just becoming Alpha King.

Marco ~ He wants revenge on Jaxon cuz Jaxon killed his best friend.

Romeo ~ Jaxon only kills when he needs to, so if that is the case, then Luckys' best friend came after Jaxon first.

Marco ~ I'm not sure what happened, but all I know is Lucky wants revenge on Jaxon cuz he murdered his best friend. Yes, I know Jaxon only kills when he needs to or if he is protecting someone he loves. I will send my pack to help you out. I will send them the night before, so Lucky doesn't know I'm helping you out. As of right now, I'm still getting help. That's what I told him, and he believes me.

Romeo ~ Thank you, Marco, for all your help.

Marco ~ You're welcome. Jaxon is one of my great friends, and I would do anything to help him out. Now, all we need to do is find out who Luckys' best friend was and why he came after Jaxon.

Romeo ~ I will talk to Jax about it when I get home. I will tell him one of my spys told me that they heard Lucky tell someone why he wants to kill him.

Marco ~ Please send me a text as soon as you find out.

Romeo ~ I will. I will talk to you later, Marco.

Marco ~ Later Romeo.

Marco gets up and leaves. I wait a couple of minutes before I get up and leave as well. I head back to the packhouse to have a chat with my brother. I pull up to the gates and wait for the guards to open it up. Once they do, I drive up to the packhouse and park my car. I head inside and go right to the office. I don't knock. I just walk in. I see Jax sitting at his desk working on some paperwork. Jax looks up and sees me standing there.

Jaxon ~ Yes, brother, what can I do for you?

Romeo ~ We need to chat. I was just informed that Lucky wants to murder you cuz you murdered his best friend. So if that's true please tell me what happened.

Jaxon ~ Fuck. Who told you this?

Romeo ~ Someone that's on the inside, he overheard Lucky on the phone.

Jaxon ~ I'll tell you everything but not until my mates get here. I have just mind linked them, and they are on their way.

Romeo ~ Okay.
