~ Chapter 30 ~

~ Jaxon' POV ~

It's been a month since Kole ended Brad and James. We have been trying to put a fucking plan together to find out why Lucky is helping his brother Marco. Marco and I were friends in college one day he confessed that he had feelings for me. I on the other hand only saw him as a friend nothing more. He told me he understood and we remained friends. Now after all these years he fucking decides to try and make me his has he lost his fucking mind? So far all we came up with is that we will have the ball to announce me as the Alpha King of all werewolves. Hopefully, we will be able to either stop them at the ball or at least get a read on them. I wish people would just leave us the fuck alone and let us be happy. One good thing about us having this ball is that I might find my final mate. Do I want to find my female mate? Yes, I do but I also don't want to at the same time. Since the whole Jae shit show, I don't trust any females. I know that not every female is like Jae and if I do find my female mate I'll just be honest with her. I'll tell her why I have these trust issues towards females and hopefully, she will understand and still be with me. I'm sitting in our office at home when my brother comes in.

Romeo ~ Hey bro have you seen your mates at all?

Jaxon ~ No why what's up?

Romeo ~ Well I have some information on Marco and Lucky.

Jaxon ~ Okay do you want me to mind link them for you to come to the office?

Romeo ~ No I'll link them.

Jaxon ~ Okay.

Romeo ~ Okay they are on their way.

Romeo takes a seat and we wait for my mates to arrive. I ask Rome how Mia is doing he tells me she is doing great. They have even started trying for a baby I honestly can't wait to become an uncle. Rome tells me he's still scared but also excited to go thru this journey with his mate. I let him know that everything is going to be alright. We continue to talk for about another 5 minutes before my mates walk into the office.

Axton ~ Sorry it took us a while we were out on border patrol.

Jaxon ~ It's okay my loves.

Jaylon ~ So Romeo what is it that you need to talk to us about?

Romeo ~ I got some more information on Marco and Lucky.

Axton ~ Okay.

Romeo ~ Okay well I found out that Marco has been telling Lucky a bunch of bullshit. He is telling him that you Jaxon are his true mate and that Jaylon has taken you away from him. He hasn't found out that you are also mated to Axton yet. Marco has even told Lucky that Jaylon has brainwashed you so you think that he is your true mate. Lucky has only agreed to help his brother cuz he believes everything that Marco tells him. Marco and Lucky are still in Italy as we speak. Marco is trying to get all his allies to help him out. We need to get a move on with this ball before Marco can get anyone to help him out. We don't want to have another battle if we can help it we need to put a stop to this now. Jaylon I need you to contact all your Mafia allies and let them know what's going on. We need them to know everything just in case Lucky talks to them and tries to get them to help him out.

Jaylon ~ Okay I'm on it.

Jaxon ~ Okay let's move up the date for the ball. Hell the sooner everyone knows that I'm the Alpha King the better. Let's move it up to 3 weeks from today.
