Savannah's POV:

Everyone began to come down to Adalia's basement, meaning that the party has officially started. The music began to play and everyone started dancing; everyone that is, except for me. I immediately went over to one of the tables to grab something to snack on, when I bumped into someone. I grabbed a plate and quickly took some snacks, along with a can of iced tea, and went back near the stage so that I can get prepared for when I have to go up. I walked over to Casey so that I can talk about my fixation on IRIS to them, only to see them sharing a passionate kiss with Taylor. I decided to leave them be and have their little moment with each other. "So it seems that you're getting closer to another rejection." I heard a familiar deep and ominous voice say. I turned around and saw a familiar spirit with a red string tied around his finger and wrapped around my wrist. The symphonic angel from hell.

"Listen, I don't know if she shares the same feelings for me or not." I said. "So we'll have to wait until the time comes." The symphonic angel from hell chuckles when I said that as he dragged me towards him. "Face it Savannah, no one has ever truly loved you. They all just seem to be using you for their personal gain." He stated. "Look at all your friends, they're genuinely happy whenever you're not annoying them with your interests, are they not?" "They have lives outside of my friendships with them, of course they're happy even when I'm not talking to them." I responded agitatedly, I can't stand it when the symphonic angel from hell tries to brainwash me into thinking that he's the only one who knows about my social life. He's been doing this to me ever since I was nine. "Your father doesn't love you ever since what happened to your adopted twin sister. He doesn't care if you've been beaten to a pulp by those around you." He continued to state. "The only reason you're under his care is because two young men didn't want to waste their time on a freak like you, so they put you under his care."

"I guess you can say that, but at least Dovahcom shows never ending appreciation for who I am and what I do." I said, knowing that Dovahcom is the reason that I keep on climbing high and for each and every obstacle that I've come across being merely pebbles compared to boulders. The symphonic angel from hell laughed at what I said, finding it to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever said. "You really think that a robot can sympathize with you? It doesn't have emotions." The symphonic angel from hell said, causing me to kinda lose it. "Dovahcom does have emotions, you just don't know what the hell he's been through!" I yelled, only to get hit in the head with a Pepsi can. "Hey nerd, how about you leave your conversation with your imaginary friends in another place?!" I heard a boy shout. "Sorry..." I mumbled as I looked at the time, the time being 5:30. The music stops and Adalia grabs the microphone to give it to me. I walk up to the stage and grab the microphone.

"May I have your attention please? I'm interrupting our usual schedule because someone wanted to perform a couple of songs for us. Please welcome Savannah Valentin!" Adalia announced, everyone clapped while me and Adalia made sure that everything was ready. "So that's the omen child, right?" I heard someone ask their friend. "Yeah, I heard from my cousin that her father's a lunatic." Said another. I felt a bit nervous, I wasn't expecting people to start talking about me being the omen child. "Thank you Adalia for having me here." I began to state. "The first song that I'm going to be singing is Zitti e buoni by Måneskin" And with that, the song begins to play, the beat already getting in my head. "Loro non sanno di che parlo, voi siete sporchi, fra', di fango. Giallo di siga fra le dita, io con la siga camminado." I began to sing in Italian.

"Scusami, ma ci credo tanto. Che posso fare questo salto. E anche se la strada è in salita, per questo ora mi sto allenando." I continued as people started to clap. "E buonasera, signore e signori. Fuori gli attori, vi conviene toccarvi i coglioni, vi conviene stare zitti e buoni. Qui la gente è strana tipo spacciatori." I do not know the translation of the lyrics, but I think it's a necessary song to be played at events like this. The determination in the singer's voice is such a thrill to listen to. "Troppe notti stavo chiuso fuori, mo li prendo a calci 'sti portoni. Sguardo in alto tipo scalatori, quindi scusa, mamma, se sto sempre fuori, ma!" I sang as we head into the chorus.
