Abrham's POV:
I was putting up the missing posters on every milk carton in the convenience store, hoping that someone knows where Savannah is. I've been doing this for about two hours now, not only that, but I've also been open to phone calls and emails from people who may at least have some information on either where Savannah is or who the man that kidnapped her is. I even contacted a podcast to help out with the calls and emails, if that isn't enough to show how desperate I am for Savannah to come home, then I don't know what is. I regret what happened last night and all the things that I said to Savannah, and the song that's currently playing on the speakers isn't helping; as it makes me want to cry even more. "Ninety-eight...ninety-nine...one hundred." I muttered to myself. "That's all the milk cartons in this store, now I gotta get some posters on the milk cartons on every store in Main Street." I will not stop trying to look for her. If I have to put all of Nadoria under martial law just so that I can make sure no one is hiding her, then so be it. I walk out of the convenience store and headed to my car, once I got myself all seated and ready to go, I turned on the ignition and began driving down to Main Street. I still have some guilt in my chest for what I did to Savannah and how that hurt her deeply. "Savannah, I'm sorry..." I said remorsefully. "I'm doing all I can to bring you home, just stay strong." As I continued to drive my way to Main Street, I looked out the window and I saw someone enjoying their time with their child. I feel like I'm the worst father to ever exist on this planet. I feel a few tears trickle down my face, once I made it to a red light, I wiped them off and straightened my posture. "C'mon Abrham, you have to remain strong and do all you can to find Savannah. If you find her, great, you'll apologize to her and take those few days off to bond with her. If not, well..." I thought as it switched to a green light, what would I do if I didn't find Savannah? Perhaps I would adopt another child to fill in the gap, simple as that. That was when I remembered the promise I made to that man I met in the woods thirteen years ago and I jolted. I will not have a repeat of what happened between me and that man. "Damn it!!! You have to find her and bring her home!!!" I don't know a damn thing about who the person is or where they live, but I'm hoping that someone, anyone, knows about him. I finally make it to Main Street, and the first thing that I did was that I continued to put up the posters. I began to ask anyone who would walk past me if they've seen Savannah, but I got a bunch of looks of fear due to them thinking that she was a vigilante.I went into the nearest grocery store and started putting the posters on milk cartons once more. One down, hundreds to go around here. It took me a long time to get a poster on every single one of these cartons, but it's honest work, and at least whoever's buying them would be aware of a missing child. As I began to exit the store, I saw a girl with black and purple hair, olive skin, dark brown eyes, and is wearing a neutral green hoodie, grey sweatpants, black sneakers, glasses, and a flower crown of some sort. I decided to approach and ask her if she's seen Savannah. "Excuse me," I said while tapping her shoulder, which caused her to turn around and face me. "Have you seen this girl on the poster? She went missing earlier this morning."
The girl took the poster from my hands and analyzed it. She then gave me back the poster. "No, I haven't seen your daughter as of recently." The girl answered, I was shocked as I never told the public about any of my children, only ones that know about them are the staff at the schools they go. "How the fuck do you know that she's my daughter?!" I asked, still surprised that someone from the general public knows that Savannah is my daughter. "Let's see, a bunch of news stations seem to love using whatever shenanigans that she gets herself into as little highlights for their stories." The girl replied.
I was shocked and furious to hear that several news outlets decided to use my daughter as their way of making a few extra dollars, I'll probably chew them out later but now I have to focus on bringing Savannah back home. "Okay then, is there anyone that you think I should ask about where my daughter potentially is?" I asked. "Only person I can think of is my ex, he can tell you everything about who kidnapped her." The girl answered as she began to walk away. "Thanks, but what's your ex's name?" I asked, wanting to know who this person is and how he can be potential help, but the girl was already gone. That's just great, just as I thought I would finally have the answers as of to where my daughter possibly went, it just faded right in my hands. I went back to my car and began to drive to a park, see if there's anything that can help connect the pieces to the puzzle and would help me bring Savannah back home.
