Smyths' POV:

I get back to the domeplex to work on some last minute touches on the BioTides along with working on a button for the testing that will probably happen shortly. I think of where to install the button for the test, but I decided to wait till Abrham comes back so that I know where we're going to have the testing take place. I just want to get my true feelings about Abrham out of my chest so badly, but I fear that he would end up rejecting and turning on me if he finds out that I've had feelings for him. Hell, I'm not sure if Abrham would ever want to get in a relationship again after what happened between him and that Bromley woman that he dated for a few weeks to cope with the death of Rosaline.

I simply sighed and continued to do my work, since I know that Abrham's anticipating the BioTides to fully work and do their job, while thinking about doing something for Savannah's sweet sixteen, which is this upcoming Thursday. Then again, that depends on whether or not Abrham has any plans for Thursday in general other than working on the dimetrix, I know that Abrham wants the dimetrix to get on full power as quick as possible so that he can present it to Savannah as a birthday present, but I think it's slowly driving Savannah away from him. I would sometimes peek through her bedroom door and I would usually see her with bruises all over her body. There was even one time where she got a black eye that lasted for about a week. I wish Abrham can see what Savannah sees and that he can hear her cries and calls. That's a flaw of Abrham's that I'm pretty sure won't be going away anytime soon, that flaw being doing something that's for the best in his perspective, but he doesn't take the time to listen to other people's perspectives.

Though that's only gotten to the point of him causing physical harm to someone twice, I still fear that one day, that major flaw of his will cause harm to not only those trying to give their perspective of something to him, but to himself as well. As I was continuing to be lost in my thoughts, I heard the door creak open. I turned around to see Demi-Leigh with a box of cassette tapes. "Smyths! I didn't know you'd be in here!" Demi-Leigh said nervously while clenching onto the box that was in their hands.

"It's alright, I'm fine with you in here." I replied. "I highly recommend that you be careful around here, since I'm not sure if the BioTides will malfunction or not." I don't have that much of a problem with Demi-Leigh being around things such as machines and beacons and such, but Abrham has a huge problem with them being anywhere that involves machines and chemicals, since Iris got killed in that explosion that Demi-Leigh caused unintentionally. That's another flaw that Abrham has, that flaw being that he isn't very forgiving of those who've done wrong to him in his life.

I guess it's pretty understandable as of to why he isn't so forgiving of others who've wronged him, since he was severely bullied in school and his father belittled him to the point that Abrham only sees himself as an omen child. I think the reason that he started the Valentin Renegade to begin with is because he has way too many bad memories of the Valentin Legacy, and he created the Valentin Renegade so that he can feel a bit more confident in himself, but that's just me. "By the way, do you have anything planned for Thursday?" Demi-Leigh asked. "Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about celebrating Savannah's sweet sixteen with her so that she doesn't feel alone, and I was wondering if you can, perhaps, keep it a secret from Abrham." "Hmmm, I don't know if I have anything planned for Thursday." I responded.

"Also, I don't know what Abrham has planned for Thursday either." I continued, knowing all too well that Abrham can be quite unpredictable, depending on what mood he's in. Demi-Leigh gives off a sarcastic laugh. "His schedule on Thursday may have something to do with the dimetrix, that's my prediction." Demi-Leigh said. "I guess he might work a bit on the dimetrix on Thursday, but who knows? Maybe he might spend some time with Savannah." I stated, knowing that Abrham has walked through so much hell for almost a decade to still provide a loving home for Savannah. "I kinda doubt it. Have you not seen or heard how ugly their arguments can get?" Demi-Leigh asked, I nodded. "Yes, I have heard how ugly the arguments can get," I replied. "But I do know for a fact that Abrham doesn't mean to cause any harm to her."
