Abrham's POV:
He looks exactly like Maxie described him last night; long curly brown hair, fair skin, and a scar near his right eye. None of us knew what his eye colour is beforehand, but now we can see. They are as gold as the engagement ring on a devious man's finger.
"And where do you all think you're going with my bride?" Zach chuckles. I tighten my grip on Savannah and glare at the figure in front of me. "Getting her out of here, that's what!" I growl, which only causes Zach to chuckle even more. "So you finally decided to come rescue her, eh?" Zach asks. "Well guess what?! Your renegade won't last any longer..." And with that, he reaches out to his pockets and pulls out a gun and a knife. Me and the others pull out our weapons as well; me and my pistol, Smyths and his scythe, Sammy and his sword, Sara and her daggers, Grace and her musket, and Dovahcom ready to merge with me whenever it's needed.
A fight breaks out between the six of us; five against one technically. I try to shoot Zach, but he keeps on dodging the bullets. Sammy runs towards Zach in an attempt to attack him, leading in Zach to block him and for Sammy to fall on the ground. "Oh Sammy," Zach chuckles as he grabs Sammy by the shirt. "Have you forgotten that I'm considered a ninja in the shadows in this town?" Zach punches Sammy hard on the nose, causing Sammy to fall backwards and onto the ground with a bloody nose. I hear him let out a growl of annoyance. I groan as well, for being around the same age group as Sammy, Zach is really strong and agile.
That's when an alternative plan came into my head. "Sara, Sammy, see if you can find another exit and take Savannah with you!" I demand, my plan is for a couple of people to take Savannah out of here via an alternative route; that way, Savannah is at least safe. "Smyths, you're with me!" Meanwhile, me and Smyths; who've already had experience fighting off the Luigs, will try and fend Zach off. "Got it." Sammy replies as he and Sara pick Savannah up by her arms and legs and begin to head out to find another exit. Me and Smyths begin facing each other back to back with our weapons ready. While we both scan the area, I hear something move and shoot at where it's coming from. "Fuck! That tore a bit of the skin, but thank god it isn't bleeding too hard." We hear Zach say, the both of us ready for any other tricks he might have up his sleeve.
Zach runs towards us with his knife in his hand, but I shoot it out of his grip before he could even have the chance to attack us. He just gives off a chuckle. "Nice shot, but it won't be enough to stop me from marrying her." Zach states, to hell with that; he is not marrying my daughter AT ALL. "This ends tonight, you bastard!" I shout.
"Oh it will, Valentin..." Zach sneers, just as I'm about to take another shot towards him, I notice that I'm out of bullets in my pistol. I find another load of ammo and put it in. While I load my gun, I begin to hear many things in under a minute; Zach chuckling, a gun being cocked towards me, rapid footsteps, and a loud bang. I look up, only to see Smyths standing in front of me, his back facing me.
"Smyths?" I speak out after standing there for ten seconds. Smyths collapses into my arms. "Smyths?!" I look at Smyths' chest, which is bleeding. It turns out that Smyths was doing all he can to fend off Zach while I was reloading my pistol.
Smyths puts his hand on his chest in an attempt to stop the bleeding. I feel the tears streaming down my face already. Smyths Collin; my best friend (aside from Dovahcom), my right hand man, my crush, my guardian angel, is on the verge of dying, and I failed to protect him. Aside from my own sobs, I hear Zach laugh maniacally as he relishes in my own pain.
Zach's POV:
"It seems like my plan is succeeding perfectly," I say out loud as Abrham continues to sob onto his right hand man's chest; revealing how much of a weakling he is without him. "And soon enough, the Valentins' reign of anarchy will come to an end!"
