Petey was on his way home. He had plans. Once he got inside, he headed upstairs to his computer and ordered kid-sized furniture. Soon, he got his delivery. Petey headed to the supermarket and brought markers, art supplies, toys, and food.

Petey put everything in order. He put away the food, and made a blue bed with a sports poster on the wall, in a special bedroom where he put away the art supplies and markers in.

After everything was in order, Petey ran out of his lab on his way to Dog Man's house. He poked his head into the door way. "Guess who just got-"

Petey was about to say when he was splashed with water, leaving him shunned. Upon seeing him, Dog Man jumped out and pounced on Petey. Dog Man growled at Petey until he remembered what Maddie had told him.

"No, Dog Man! Petey is my friend and Lil' Petey's papa, remember? He's a good guy, you have to give him a chance."

Dog Man then started to lick Petey's face. "Good boy, Dog Man," Lil' Petey said as he, Maddie, and 80-HD came outside to see what was going on. "You learned to focus."

"Get off of me now!" Petey shouted. Dog Man was flown off and landed in front of Maddie, who then walked over to Petey with Lil' Petey.

"Hi, Papa," Lil' Petey greeted.

"Did you escape from jail again?" Maddie asked.

"Nope, the governor gave me a pardon," Petey answered.

"Sweet," Maddie said with a smile.

"Now that I'm a free cat," Petey said as he got up. "You get to come and live with me. Isn't that great?"

Lil' Petey looked at Dog Man, 80-HD, and Maddie, who had troubled looks on their faces. Maddie was more troubled. She remembered the day she met Lil' Petey.

Maddie was getting out of the shower. She wrapped herself in a warm towel and walked out of the bathroom.

After getting entirely dry, Maddie left the used towel in the laundry room and walked downstairs. That was when she saw Dog Man entering. It wasn't just Dog Man though. He was holding a green box with the words "free kitty" written on it. There was an orange kitty in the box.

"Wow, your house looks bigger on the inside than the outside," he complimented.

"Dog Man." Maddie walked over to Dog Man, who licked her in response. "How was your security job?" She asked.

Dog Man looked down with a frown. "It didn't go well," Maddie said before looking at Lil' Petey. "Well, what do they call a sweetheart like you?"

"I'm Lil' Petey,"  the kitten introduced himself. Maddie had a blank look before smiling and holding the kitten in her paws.

"Well, you remind me of a friend of mine," Maddie said before introducing herself. "I'm Madison, but you can call me Maddie."

"Nice to meet you," Lil' Petey said before saying. "I think you're pretty."

Maddie smiled at the compliment. "Well, I think you're a very cute kitten," Maddie said. "Where's your parents?"

Lil' Petey frowned. "He told me we were playing a game called the 'New Home ' game," he explained. " I went to go potty, but when I came back, he was gone."

Maddie gasped and hugged Lil' Petey close, feeling sorry for the poor kitten. "Poor thing,"  she said as she brushed her hands through the fur of Lil' Petey's head. "Well, you can come stay with us."
