Starring at Sophia's body felt so surreal, we'd spent so long looking for her and Daryl almost died looking for her. Jason was clinging to Shane's shoulder, tears streaming down his face and Shane trying to calm him down. I was still processing what just happened whilst Shane kept me close to his side. Rick looked at me with a disapproving look before walking over to Lori and Carl. I blew him off and followed Shane up to the house. Rick and Glenn also followed, "you knew." stated Shane marching after Hershel, who was still in shock from what just transpired. "We didn't know." snapped Maggie, "you knew and we've been out in those woods looking for her and she was in there." shouted Shane still balancing Jason on his arm. "Maybe Otis put her there before he died." replied Hershel. "Do I look stupid to you man?" asked Shane moving towards Hershel. "Leave it Shane." growled Rick pushing back by the chest. "I don't care what you believe. Get off my property!" yelled Hershel. Shane reared and stepped towards Hershel. "No, don't touch him!" shouted Maggie delivering a slap to Shane's face. "Bitch!" I shouted lunging at Maggie but stopped by Rick's arm wrapping around my waist. "Kat, quit it." he growled as Hershel, Glenn and Hershel's family disappeared inside. I pushed Rick off and took Jason from Shane. "You ok?" asked Rick directing it at Shane, "Daryl almost died looking for her man, anyone of us could. That son of a bitch knew." replied Shane rubbing the back of his head in frustration. "He didn't know, I was handling it." said Rick making me scoff at him. "If by handling it you mean bring walkers that close to camp, your son and wife. My son and husband then yes Rick you were handling it perfectly." I said cuddling Jason close to my shoulder. "Stay out of this Kat." he said stepping up to me but Shane pushed him back. "Leave her alone Rick, she's right. You put my son and unborn child at risk. You fucked up." said Shane softly.

Shane took my hand and we walked back towards camp. We paused at Shane's car he'd fixed up on the highway. "What's wrong babe?" I asked turning to face my husband. "He brought a walker into camp where we sleep. Is he crazy?" Shane asked pounding his fist of the hood of the car. "Maybe but you were there baby. You stopped him." I said kissing his forehead. "Daddy?" sounded Jason's quiet voice from my shoulder. I pulled back and let Shane take Jason. "What's up bud?" Shane asked brushing Jason's hair from his face. His little blue eyes were tear stained and so were his cheeks. "Did you kill all the monsters? Are we safe now?" asked Jason and Shane smiled. "Yes kiddo, they can't hurt you or your momma ever again." replied Shane kissing Jason's forehead. Jason rested his head on the crook of Shane's neck and fell asleep. I gripped Shane's hand and we continued towards camp. "I'll put him to bed." said Shane, "ok I'll go help with the bodies." I replied and I walked off towards the barn. Lori, Andrea, T-Dog and Dale were already down there, loading bodies on to a truck. "Hey guys." I said waving to them. "Hi Kat, can I talk to you?" asked Dale and I nodded. We walked off, I knew we'd talk about Shane and what Shane just did which I couldn't be bothered with. We stopped once we'd disappeared from the others sight making me kind of uncomfortable.

"What is it Dale?"

"Kat, please don't blow up but I think Shane is dangerous."

"Shane's hot headed but he's not dangerous."

"Look, I know he has a temper but I believe he may have sacraficed Otis."

"Dale, you need to be crystal clear with me right now. Are you saying my husband murdered the man that shot my son?"

"Yes, he all but threw it in my face."

"Keep this to yourself, who else knows?"

"Lori and she may have told Rick."

"Jesus, that's just what I need."

"Sorry Kat but he is a danger and Rick knows that."

"It's fine Dale, I'll see you later. I gotta talk to my brother."

Dale sighed and gently gripped my hand before walking off. I, on the other hand, made my way back towards the house in search of Rick but instead ran into Daryl. "Kat, you ok?" he asked stopping me wi his muscular arm wrapping itself around my waist. "Daryl, I don't have time for this." I said as he twirled me into his chest. "Yes you do. What's up?" he growled gripping my shoulders gently. "Dale just accused my husband of murder. Is that what you wanted to hear?" I snapped accidently. I was still processing what Dale had just told me that dealing with anyone other than Rick was hard for me. "Murder? Who'd he kill?" asked Daryl, I pushed against his chest trying to get free but he had such a tight gip on me that it was practically impossible to get free. "Otis." I snapped again hitting his shoulder this time. Daryl let go with a look of disbelief plastered to his face. Tears stung my eyes but I had to remain strong as Daryl continued to look at me. "Kat... You don't think he would kill someone?" he asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "Daryl, I'll talk to you later but I have to talk to Rick." I said and Daryl nodded, trudging off towards Hunter and Ryder.

"Rick." I said bursting into his tent, he was alone fiddling with his Python. "What's up Kat?" he said angrily. "Rick, this isn't about us right now, it's about Shane possibly murdering someone." I replied placing my hand on my shoulder. He threw my hand off his shoulder and stood up to face me. "I know, Lori told me about Otis. That's why I want you and Jason to bunk with either me or Daryl, since I know you two are close." explained Rick making my blood boil. "I'm not doing that Rick, what happened bewteen me and Daryl is water under the bridge and none of your concern." I snapped. "He's dangerous Kat, he'll end up hurting you or Jason and I wouldn't be able to live with myself." he said, his hand now on my shoulder. I threw his off and folded my arms across my chest. "It's not happening Rick, this is the first time in a long time you've paid any attention to me or my family, so I think I trust my husband a little more than you." I said making Rick's eyebrows narrow and his eyes cloud with anger. "I'll not have my sister or my nephew living with a murderer!" Rick yelled raising his hand.

I ducked underneath his hand as it was about to collide with my face. "Rick, have you lost it?" I shouted back at him pushing him into the wall of the tent. He quickly got back to his feet and lunged at me. "Momma!" shouted Jason from the tent door, he was standing with sleepy eyes and his blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He was even wearing Shane's police cap, backwards of course so he could see. "Jason stay back." I shouted avoiding Rick's fists. Rick pushed me to the ground, the two of us now wrestling on the ground in front of my five year old son. A gun cocked, we both stopped fighting to see Jason with Rick's Python in hand and pointing at Rick's temple. "Get off my mommy!" Jason yelled and Rick backed off me slowly. "Jason put that down." said Rick but Jason kept it raised. "Not until you leave my mommy alone!" Jason shouted again. At that moment, Shane and Lori burst into the tent to see a five year old defending his mother from his uncle. "Rick, what the fuck man!" yelled Shane knocking the Python from Jason's hands and helping me to my feet. He scooped Jason up in his arms and growled at Rick.

"Don't ever touch my wife or son again! My son should never have to raise a gun to his Uncle's head for the reason he had!"
