Hello everyone! I just want to thank you all for all the love and support on this crappy fanfiction I started writing at the beginning of quarantine! When I first started this thing, I never expected it to get six thousand reads! Wow! I just wanted to say thank you for being patient with me when I was too lazy to update

Anyway, since we've hit a pretty big plot point (the discovery of evil Aunt Elizabeth), I just wanted to clear up some things that past me wasn't very good at doing. None of these will be spoilers, it's just some stuff that I tried to tell you guys, but reading it back, I'm not entirely sure that it was clear. I encourage you all to read this so the story makes more sense, but of course, I can't make you do anything.

When Y/n's parents "died", she was sent to go live with her grandparents, who are her father's parents. Her grandmother was highly unstable even before her son's death, so she ended up blaming her son's death on Y/n. This lead to the eventual Y/n being beat and because of this, she and Aika were removed by CPS from their custody. Her grandparents got divorced a few months later.

Elizabeth is not Y/n's biological aunt, she's actually her godmother. After running away from Hisato and her old life of crime, she met Y/n's mother and they quickly became close. When Y/n was born, Elizabeth was asked to be her godmother.

More people are working for Hisato, and they all live in a "safe house" as mentioned in chapter 7, bruises. There's something else mentioned in this chapter called "training", and I don't think I clearly explained what that was. Basically, Hisato would groom and rape all his employees from a young age to make them feel useless without them. Yes, he did this to every one of the people who work for him.

All of the people working for Hisato are stolen from their real families, so for most of them, the only family they have ever known is Hisato as their father figure and everyone around them as their siblings. Hisato refers to himself as their father, making the grooming even creepier and more messed up.

Hisato's quirk is called "Fear", and it allows him to manipulate someone's mind into seeing something they're not. For example, when he killed Ichiki, he didn't actually kill her in the gruesome way I described it in the book. In reality, he just shot her and used his quirk to make it look like he killed her so horribly.

Seiichi's quirk is paralyze, which, as the name suggests, allows him to paralyze people for a determined amount of time. He used his quirk on the night Ichiki was killed to stop Hisato from harming Neito and traumatizing him further.

This story will not be following the official timeline from here on out, it will strictly be events to drive the plot forwards with Y/n as the main character instead of Izuku. Although there will still be major events such as the sports festival, but it will happen at a different time in the year.

Hisato's crime organization is well known by other crime people in the city and is recognized by pro-hero organizations and the LOV.

I saw a lot of people complaining about this one, so I need to clear this one up especially. The only reason Neito is nice to Y/n at the beginning is that his job was to get close to her, that's it. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure he would despise her.

Last but not least, I want to tell you all that Y/n and Neito are projection characters for me, and I wrote them to reflect my decisions and personal experiences. This means that canonly, Y/n has a sensory disorder and severe anxiety.

That's all I wanted to say! Thank you for reading and I'll try to have a more regular update schedule from now on. I will also be answering all questions in the comments of this chapter, so ask away! A new chapter will be out ASAP.
