| How do I say this?| Yasu x reader |

A/N: HELLO IM SO SORRY FOR THE BOOK UPDATE DELAY!! I REALISED MY BOOK HAD GONE TO #44 IN THE MIMIC TAG, SO I GAVE UP FOR AWHILE, BUT IM BACK!

Y/N and Yasu were best friends. After Yasu's other friends went missing, you were to only one to remain with him. You were his best friend. That was before he started to catch feelings. And oh boy, did he fall for you. He didn't know how to say it though, along with the fact he was just nervous of what you might say back. So, he asked Juno how to confess.

"Juno, can I ask you something?" Yasu asked, looking towards Juno. Her head slowly turned towards Yasu. "Yeah, sure, but make it quick I'm busy texting Y/N." She said, taking her eyes off of her phone for a moment. "Listen...I don't know how to say this, but I like someone!" He blurted out, looking towards Juno for her reaction. Juno started to laugh, "HAHAHA, YASU LIKES SOMEONE? THE SAME KID WHO USED TO-" 

"Junooooooo, I really need help this time." He begged, praying Juno would help him with this. Juno stopped laughing and wiped her eyes. "Okay, okay, I'm done fooling around. What advice do you need?" She asked, putting down her phone. Yasu stopped to think for a moment, before answering. "How do I tell Y/N I like them? In the least cringy way, and in a way that might make them like me back?" He questioned, hoping Juno knew how to handle this mess. 

She was quick to reply. "Listen, I was in college before. I know how this stuff works. Get them flowers or something, and ask them to meet you somewhere. If they don't like you back, then you can't really change that, but just try your best." Juno said, her eyes flicking back to her phone. Yasu sighed, this advice was the only advice he was ever gonna get. 

A few minutes later Yasu said goodbye to Juno, and he left. Juno then heard her phone ding, you had texted her asking how to tell Yasu you like him. Juno smiled to herself, knowing she could make Yasu worried for no reason at all. She has always wanted to play matchmaker, so why not now? It's not like another one of these things would come up anyway. She texted you back, Y/N I don't think you have much to worry about, just confess with your feelings, ask him to go to the park with you. She texted. You replied: Thanks Juno, that "helps" alot .

A few days later, you got a text on your phone, it was from Yasu. Y/N, are you free on friday? I was thinking we could maybe go to the park? It's okay if you can't. You texted him back quickly: Yes, that works for me! See you there. You then texted Juno excitingly, about how this might be the perfect time to tell Yasu. Juno said nothing and only put the "🧍‍♂️" emoji. You laughed a tiny bit, and switched off your phone. You laid down on the floor, staring at the fan, wondering how Friday would go.

By Friday, you were more nervous than excited. But you managed to pull yourself out of bed, brush your hair, and get ready. Yasu was doing the same thing, while Keiko and Daku were asking him so many questions. "What are they like? Is this a date? When did you start to like them?" Yasu just answered with "I don't know." for each question. By 10:AM he was rushing over to the park, and so were you. You and Yasu both took the same way to the park, but didn't notice each other inches away. You both were so nervous that you bumped into each other, and fell onto the ground. "Gah! I'm so sorr- wait, Yasu?" You exclaimed, shocked. Yasu helped you up.  "Hi Y/N, and ah, I'm so sorry too. Sometimes I just get lost in my thoughts and black out." He said. You laughed, "Me too." 

The rest of the walk was silent, before you reached your destination. "Y/N, theres something I need to tell you." He said, nervously. You were scared of what he might say. What if he didn't want to be friends anymore? You thought, anxiously fiddling with you hair. "Um...me too." You said, looking up at him. "Alright, we will both say what we want to on the count of ten." He said. "Ten... nine... eight... seven...six... five... four... three... two... one!"

"I LIKE YOU!" You both yelled, suddenly stopping to look at each other. 

"Y-you like me?" You asked, not knowing whether you were more shocked, flustered, or happy. Yasu looked equally aconfused. "I could ask you the same question." He smiled, pulling you into a hug. You hugged him back.  Meanwhile, Juno was watching you two from behind a tree. She started to laugh, and knew she would remember the time she set up her cousin and his best friend up.
