A/N: IN THIS Y/N PLAYS THE ROLE OF HANA/BIWAKI! I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS UPDATE!

"Kuriko, my dear, how did your hair get so knotted?" Megumi asked, trying to brush Kuriko's hair as she hummed. "I'm sorry mother, I fell off my wheelchair and into a bush." She replied, looking ashamed of herself. Megumi put down the hairbrush and didn't seem to be fazed at at all. She said nothing and left the room, leaving Kuriko alone with her thoughts. Kuriko looked in the mirror. She saw a girl with a wheelchair with tangled hair, messy, dark hair.

She stared at her reflection, remembering who she was. "Is this really who I am?"

As she said that, she heard a knock on her sliding door. She got up and crawled over to it, attempting to see who was there. "Who is it?" She asked, trying to peek out of the crack.

"Kuriko, it's me Y/N." You said, helping her open the door. She smiled as she thanked you for your help. "Oh! Y/N! I'm sorry, I forgot to visit you...Mother didn't want me to go" She admitted, looking down at the floor. "Thats alright! I know it's not your fault." You said, as she looked up at you and nodded a slight thank you. "Come inside please." She said, pulling you onto the room. It was late afternoon and the sun shone through the window. You shut the door behind you before Kuriko asked you to sit down.

You both talked for awhile about life, before she asked you something.

"Y/N, can I ask you something?" Kuriko said, tugging on your arm. You turned to look at her and smiled. "Of course!" You said, seeing her fiddle with her messy hair. She took a deep breath and then stopped messing with her hair. "Will we be best friends forever?" She asked slowly, looking down at the floor. You laughed at her question.

"Of course we will!" You smiled, "What kind of question is that?"

Kuriko gave you a weak smile and softly held your hand. "Even when we are dead?" She said, you knew she had lost her cat, and was afraid she would lose you too. You took a deep breath and replied. "Yes, we will! Dead or not, we will always be friends!" Kuriko looked shocked, but then happy. "Thank you." She said, starting to cry happy tears. You panicked, and tried to make her not cry. "WAITTT! DON'T CRY!"

"I'm going to the palace, I'll be back by sunset." Megumi said, locking the door behind her. Kuriko breathed a sigh of relief, and looked for a spare key for the door. Once she had found it, Kuriko pushed her wheelchair aganist the door. She waited until Megumi had travelled far enough to be of earshot, before unlocking the padlock and carefully putting it back in place. She rolled her wheelchair outside and took a deep breath before leaving her house.

It was early morning, and Kuriko didn't normally leave the house without Megumi, but she hadn't seen you in 2 weeks. She didn't have to venture long before she found your house. "Y/N?" She called, trying to see if you were there. You weren't. Maybe your illness was preventing you from getting up to answer the door? Kuriko went to the back of the house and tried to open that door.

It unlatched, to reveal your bedroom. But you were not there. She would usually see you sit on your bed and read, but all that was there was a single drop of blood and scattered books. She crawled off her wheelchair and tried to look through the house. Not a single trace of life lingered there.

"Y/N! PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE JUST HIDING!" She cried, starting to sob.

She stayed there until just before sunset, and went back to her house. Kuriko's hair was tangled again and her eyes were red from crying. Megumi didn't seem to notice anything when she got home.

"Here Kuriko, have your dinner." Megumi said, handing Kuriko a bowl of rice, irriated at something, most likely due to work as a servant. Kuriko nodded a thank you and ate her dinner. Megumi decided to go to bed early, leaving Kuriko alone in the dark. Suddenly, Kuriko saw something in the darkness, a shadow. It was Y/N! Kuriko leaped over to hug you, but she passed right through you, and she fell onto the floor. The pain coursed though her body as she remembered she needed her wheelchair. But she swore you were there! "I can't be going crazy, can I?" She asked herself.

You watched as you saw Sama fall onto the ground, and Yasu put down his sword in relief. Sama muttered something while in pain before becoming limp on the ground and getting dragged away. You felt yourself become less stiff, then felt yourself able to move again. You weren't being controlled! You ran across the room, in search of Kuriko, she looked sad before she saw you. She was pulling her hair around, still trying to grip the fact she had control over her actions. Then, she noticed you. "Y/N?" She said, feeling like she was imagining things. She hadn't seen you for hundreds of years, and that's not including the years you went missing. You grinned at her and pulled her into a tight hug.

"I told you we would be best friends, no matter what!"
