Saving The Predacons

Chapter 4

I didn't need to recharge since I just woke up from a very long one. While Alex slept, I looked through the ship's records seeing if there was anything about the Predacons in there. I did not find anything, but I did find some recordings of a bot named Predaqueen. I couldn't think of an Autobot named Predaqueen so I decided to watch the recordings.

"Predaqueen to Optimus Prime. I just finished the check on Autobot Outpost 1. They are doing good, they have enough energon so we won't have to waste ours. All of the Auto–" I ended the video since it was boring and I doubted that any real information would be found. I skipped to the next one.

"Okay so, I have found something really cool that I can do so," she turned around and flexed her wings so they uncoiled. "Pretty cool right?"

So that one was useless. Let's go onto the next one. I was about to go onto the next one when my back started tingling where wings would be. I looked for a camera only to find one right when the tingling stops. That was weird. I went to the next video.

"I just got back from a meeting with Predaking and he told me that Shockwave has found a way to make new Predacons. Predaking told me that at our next meeting he'll bring some of the new Predacons. Whew I'm nervous." The video ended and the next one started playing right away.

"Wow, they are obnoxious. At least they have some level of respect, but I don't care about that. When they met me they started bombarding me with questions and UGH I was annoyed. After Predaking sent them back to Megatron he started telling me about his plan for them." Now we're getting somewhere.

"He said that Megatron was sending them to a couple different planets that are rich with energon. One of them was Earth and I can't remember the rest of them. I think one of them was another planet like ours. I think that Megatron will test their strength in battle before he sends them on their way."

And that was the last of the videos. Just as I was about to settle down for a bit I suddenly knew where Megatron sent the Predacons. Where in the name of Primus did THAT come from? But once I regained my thoughts I set course to the locations.

"Protector? Are we moving?" Alex asked drowsily.

"Yeah we're going to our first location which we should get there in about an hour" She grumbled and went back to sleep. I looked out the cockpit window and saw a raging ocean below us. I stared and reveled the simplicity and beauty of planet Earth.

We arrived in the middle of some mountains and there was a giant crater and in the middle of it was a hunk of metal. I walked over to Alex and poked her. "Hey, we're here," I said, trying to wake her up. After a couple minutes she finally woke up and ate. "You ready," I asked.

"Yeah. You think anyone is in there?"

"I don't know, maybe. I doubt that Megatron would send bots to a distant planet without putting them into stasis." I said back. I was also very nervous about this since I don't know if they would be hostile. "Maybe you should stay here," I said as we were about to walk out of the ship.

"Nah, I'll be fine. Plus I really want to meet some Predacons."

"Well no matter what, you will meet them. 'Cause once I convince them that I'm not a threat they'll come here and you can meet them."

"I guess we could do that. But I could come with you," she said, elongating her words.

"Ugh, fine I guess you can come with me. But if there's any sign of danger you will hide behind me, ok?"

"Fine. I guess." She said climbing onto my hand and then climbing onto my shoulder.

We walked out and went over to the crash site. When we reached the ship I knocked on it and said "Hello?" I heard air hissing and a couple grunts. I circled the ship to try to find the entrance to find none.

I drew my sword and started to slash through the ship's hull. When I made a robot sized hole I walked through it and said "Hello" again. Two pairs of optics stared at me.

They got up and walked toward me. When they got right in front of me they bowed and said "My Queen."

"Uh, awkward," Alex said quietly into my audio receptor, making me flinch.

"Rise, Predacons. I'm afraid you have me mistaken for someone else," I said.

"We're sorry. Eclipse here, said that you were Predaqueen." The one on the right said.

"Well her mind surely felt like Predaqueens," Eclipse said quickly and quietly to the other Predacon.

"Okay, well I'm Razorclaw, and as you may know, this is Eclipse," Razorclaw said, "and who are you?"

"I'm Protector and this is Alex," I said pointing to Alex which is now poking her head out from behind mine.

"H-hi," Alex said nervously.

"Who sent you here?" Razorclaw asked.

"Megatron did, he-" I started to say but Eclipse interrupted me.

"Lies! Speak the truth or leave."

Okay something is up with these Predacons. Eclipse almost flinched but kept most of it suppressed. "Actually the Primes sent me here to collect the predacons that Megatron sent to this planet and bring them back to Cybertron."

Razorclaw started talking with Eclipse and then Razorclaw turned to me and said, "Allright, we'll go with you. I hope you have a ship, since this one is not operational."

"We do, and we will have to go somewhere else to find more predacons," I said.

They nodded and the four of us walked out. "I don't know if I like them," Alex commented.

"I think I do, Eclipse is definitely the one that's suspicious. It seems like she knows too much," I replied, keeping my voice down.

"Yeah she definitely is," Alex looked back, "she looks hurt in a way that's not physical."

"Hmm," I said, sneaking a look at them. Eclipse definitely was acting weird. When we reached the ship I turned around and said, "So this is my ship, you'll have the run of the place until we get to our destinations."

Eclipse nodded and urged her brother forward. They walked in and I followed right behind them with Alex still on my shoulder. I walked to the front of the ship and prepared it for takeoff.

"Wait, wait, wait. How did you figure out the locations? When I fell asleep last night, you had no

idea where we were going," Alex questioned.

"Um I was looking through the ships database and found some videos that told me the locations," I replied.

"Can I see the videos?" Eclipse said, startling Alex and I.

I mumbled, "I guess," and played the videos, to which the others watched intently.
