After I left Alex and started walking back to the ship, the air started to feel weird on my armor. I looked around and saw a couple shifts on the ground. I knelt and reached my mind towards the weird things. I felt the mind of a very complex organism but I couldn't get into its mind. I tried harder and it faltered a couple times before I gave up and started to continue my walk to the ship.
I heard a sigh and something shushing something else. I walked back to the things and didn't hesitate to grab both of them. When I closed my hands around the things I heard a scream from the left one, and the right one said, "Shut up Chloe!"
I lifted the-what I now realize-humans up to my hip and brought them to the ship. When I reached the ship I started to feel a weird poking on my fingers. As the bay door was closing, I set the humans down on a shelf that brought them to eye level with me and the other Predacons. "What are they?" Eclipse asked, walking to stand next to me. I felt her send a mental come here to the others, but like usual, I ignored her mental commands.
"I don't know, I was coming back when I saw something moving on the ground. Then they were making noises and I caught them and came back," I replied while watching the two humans argue. I didn't really listen in on their conversation, but a couple little snippets reached my audio receptors and one was scolding the other while the one that was getting scolded threatened to murder many people, then herself. I could also tell that both of them were holding back tears, since their voices were wavering a lot and their eyes were wet.
Once the tall one realized that we were staring at them, she shushed the slightly shorter, red-haired one and she started to mumble curses at the other and I could feel the hatred that she was sending to the taller one. "Hello Cybertronians, I am Alex and this is Chloe," the tall one said with some hesitation when introducing the two of them.
I opened my mouth to introduce us but Eclipse had a different plan. "What are you? Why can't I access your minds?" I stopped Eclipse before she could say more, even though similar questions were running through my mind.
The humans exchanged glances before Alex turned to respond, "We are Predacons just like you, except we can turn human. And our telepathic strengths are much more advanced than yours." Once she finished, metal wings appeared behind them. My mind started to go a million different directions, but a portal appeared behind them and they stepped through it. I felt a pressure in my mind and the past two minutes blurred, almost making me forget it.
I stood there for a moment, gathering what just happened before walking to the cockpit like I was being possessed. When I sat down and started to plot course for Cybertron, there was a small rumble and visions burst into my mind.
The battle between Primus and Unicron raged before me. When Primus defeated his brother and cast him out. I watched as Unicron floated away, gathering rocks. When he finally stopped moving, I saw that he became Earth. As I stood in the vacuum of space, I realized that I could feel his pulses and his sleeping thoughts, just as I could Primus'.
My vision flashed and I was facing Unicron. "Why did you wake me, child?" He asked, his voice just like his brothers; loud and booming.
"I didn't mean to, my lord," I said, surprised that I called him lord.
"Hmm," he said. "I see that you're a creature of intense power."
Creature! What does he mean by that? I thought furiously. "Yes, yes I am my lord."
"Then let me give you more." He said and his eyes started glowing purple and lasers shot
out of his eyes, surrounding me in purple. I could fell that he was changing my energon into dark energon because more power was flooding through my veins.
I was back in the ship and I saw that we were in space, looking at Earth. "Why aren't we moving," Divebomb asked.
I cleared my throat, not wanting to answer and started to mess with the controls to get the ship back to Cybertron. "Are you okay," Eclipse asked, putting a hand on my shoulder and startling me a little bit.
"Yeah, yeah I'm good. I just zoned out for a minute," I replied, trying to keep my voice level.
"Are you sure? I couldn't feel your mind and you still feel distant."
Well that's because I have dark energon flowing through my veins, I want to say, but instead I brush off her questions and change the subject. "It's gonna be awhile, we should all power down," I say even though I know that all of them don't need one, including me. The others went to the beds in another part of the ship while I stayed in my seat and mere seconds after I closed my optics, I fell into a deep sleep.
I woke up to the alarm sounding and a tractor beam on the ship. Oh, frag! I thought repetitively while looking for a symbol of a faction on the new ship. When I couldn't find one I started to worry. I woke up the others and gave each of them instructions. "Darksteel, you stay here incase of an emergency escape. Everyone else, stay behind me, and get ready for an attack." I heard complaints that Darksteel was lucky to stay behind. "The reason why we're leaving Darksteel behind is because he'll be the fastest to get us away," I snapped. "And because he's an idiot and I wouldn't trust him in battle," I mumbled very quietly.
I took stance right behind the bay doors and the others did too. The ship stopped with a jolt and someone was banging loudly on the hull, "Open up!" I reached and clicked on a button that opened the bay door. Multiple blasters were aimed at us and a tall broad-shouldered bot stood at the end of the ramp.
Oh yay, I'll have to deal with strict-bot, I thought, dreading that we got hailed by this ship. I heard the other Predacons groan before turning their blasters and blades back into hands. I sheathed my sword and started to walk out of the ship and when a hand stopped me.
"What are you doing, Predaqueen," Ultra Magnus asked me, spitting out my name like it's a Decpticons.
"Well I was going back to Cybertron before your ship tethered to mine and now we're here," I replied with layers of acid over my words. Magnus and I never really got along well. When I first joined the Autobots, he thought that I was a spy. And he probably still does, since I was a Predacon. "Wait, weren't you a commander of the wreckers on Cybertron?"
"Yeah, I was until Optimus sent me on an energon run with this band of misfits," he said, pointing at the crew behind him.
"Well have fun on this boring mission and I'll see ya once you come back," I said, turning around and stretching my mind toward the bot that's controlling the bay doors and made him open them. I walked into my ship and continued until I was in the cockpit, not paying any attention to the faces the predacons were giving me.
As I was getting the ship ready for departure, Razorclaw claimed the co-pilot's seat. "I could tell that you were ready to terrify Magnus, why?"
"Eh, he's a prick. He needs to remember his post," I said even though we are at the same
position in terms of commanding the Autobots.
"Okay then," Razorclaw said, getting up and letting me do my stuff.
