Saving The Predacons

Chapter 9

As we neared Cybertron, I could see the destruction that the accursed Megatron wreaked. I opened the bay doors and led the Predacons to Optimus.

Divebomb caught up to me and whisper-yelled to me, "Where are we going?"

"To pledge fidelity to Optimus and I," I announced to him and the others. I heard their apprehensive thoughts about doing that.

As we rounded the corner into Autobot Headquarters, all of the bots in the room looked at us. Walk proudly. Don't let them intimate you, I said to the others when I noticed that they started to shy away.

I walked right up to Optimus Prime and kneeled, showing my respect for him. "Predaqueen, I see that you brought the Predacons," he said.

"Yes, Optimus," I said while rising. "I thought that there would be more, but I only remembered two sets of coordinates."

He nodded and walked past me, looking at my subjects. "Rise, Predacons. What are your designations," he asked.

The four of them stated their names. I felt Eclipse trying to get into Optimus' mind and I had to throw her consciousness back into her mind and she stumbled slightly.

Don't do that! He may not be able to read minds but he will be able to feel you, I scolded Eclipse telepathically.

Sorry, she mumbled. I was just curious. I rolled my optics and focused back into reality.

"Predaqueen?" Optimus inquired.

"Hmm?" I said. I looked around and everyone was staring at me, waiting for me to respond.

"Sorry, I was zoning out. What were we talking about?" I asked, feeling like an idiot.

"The Predacons were getting ready to pledge fidelity to us," Optimus responded.

"Ah, yes." I nodded and let the Predacons start. They went one by one, saying the same thing. Divebomb was the last and when he finished, I waved my hands around and ice started flowing around us. The Predacons started to freak out when the ice touched them, but I soothed their minds and told them to let the ice do its thing.

I let go of control of the ice and it wove into ice daggers that would never melt. Once everything was done, I brought the Predacons to each of their quarters. They each had their own rooms that were connected to mine with a hallway. I let them settle in and I left to go to Icon.

I walked to the Chamber of the Primes and debriefed them of my mission. "I see that you grew fond of a human, Predaqueen," Alchemist Prime said, leaning back in his chair and folding his hands on his lap.

"I did. I was hoping that I could get assigned back to Earth soon," I said.

"We might, but it won't be for the intent that you think. You might want to visit Primus soon, we can feel his energy draining," Solus Prime said, cutting off her brother when he was going to say something.

No, no, no, no! This cannot be happening! I thought furiously. I excused myself and left. I raced to the Well of Allsparks and could see the dead guards on the rim. I dived down into the Well and went right to Primus' spark. I found Megatron right next to Primus' spark, draining him from his energon. "MEGATRON!" I yelled and drew my sword. "You will not destroy Cybertron!"

"I beg to differ, I've almost killed him," he responded, drawing his own sword. I lunged at him, claws and teeth ready to kill. He dogged right as I was getting ready to grab his head with my jaw and he tried to shoot me. I dogged myself, and saw that Megatron was retreating.

You coward! I thought as I heard the Nemesis overhead and wingbeats coming towards us. I followed Megatron to the deck of the Nemesis and saw all of his formidable fighters lined up. "You cannot take me! I am the most powerful Cybertronian alive!" I said. I ran forward and tore through each one of them.

When I killed the last of the Vheicons the only ones that were left were Knockout, Breakdown, Starscream, Predaking, and Megatron. Breakdown and Knockout were at my sides with Starscream and Megatron in front and behind me. Predaking was circling above me when Starscream came at me.

I knocked him down with my tail, and lunged at Knockout. His hand turned into a saw and he tried to cut me. I grabbed his forearm with my jaw and threw him and Breakdown, which was starting to run at me. They both tumbled and Megatron as well as Predaking were the last ones left.

My comm crackled and I heard Optimus on it. Predaqueen, we have to abandon the planet.

"Okay, I'll be to the Ark soon," I responded. I started to fly as Megatron was starting to attack me and speaking to his comm. I tried to slash at him with my sword, but he dodged and Predaking ran into my back. I growled and grabbed onto his shoulder to get him off of me. As soon as I found an opening, I flew and went to the Ark.

The ship was starting to fly away when I crashed into the deck. I transformed into robot mode and rushed to the cockpit. I saw Eclipse telling Optimus that I was on board and we could leave, he didn't believe her until he saw me and ordered Ironhide to take off.

"Where have you been?" Eclipse exclaimed once the adrenaline died down and we were safely off Cybertron.

"I went to see the Primes when they told me that Primus was in danger. I went over to the Well of Allsparks and saw Megatron killing him. We battled until his reinforcements came and I had to battle everyone. Then I got Optimus' transmission and came back." I said, collapsing on the floor while I explained everything and felt all of the Autobots worry.

Everything started to get blurry and my audio receptors started ringing. Darkness engulfed my vision and I felt myself fall to the side. I woke in the medical bay with the Predacons around me, faceplates full of worry. "What happened," I asked.

"Your senses were overloaded so the only thing that your body could think of was to shut down," Divebomb replied. I nodded and looked around and saw bots with limbs missing and energon leaking profusely. Red Alert and Ratchet were trying to help everyone, but there were too many injured bots and not enough medics.

I put my servos up to my face and thought, what has happened to this peaceful race? Another worrying thought entered my mind. "What happened to the Primes," I asked.

The Predacons looked at each other, until Razorclaw said, "Shockwave and some of his troops went and ambushed them. They're dead."
