CHAPTER XXVI

ℂ𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕣𝕒 ℙ𝕠𝕧;

"Leah there is something I want to show and tell you!" I said.

"𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵....𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵?"

"Have you totally lost it?"

"𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮!"

"So...I will show you first so it will be easy for me to tell you" I said and took the nearest candle and blew it off. And then light it up with my magical powers.

"𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵...𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵...𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶..."

"Yeah...I can do magic...I am a witch....and a princess of a huge kingdom."

"𝘕𝘰 𝘯𝘰 𝘯𝘰...𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘫𝘰𝘬𝘦!"

"Leah I really am and you can't tell this to anyone. Not even your bf. Do you understand?" I asked

"Okay fine!" She said she was still in shock but j knew she won't tell this to anyone and she believes me. I felt like a very heavy burden lifting off my chest. Now I can finally be totally open with her. On most of the stuff. After telling her all the crazy stuff of my life we went inside.

Kade was standing by the bar whereas Henry was nowhere to be seen. We went to Kade and he told us that he went to washroom. When Henry returned, he and Leah disappeared in crowd.

"You look very beautiful!" Kade whispered in my ear.

"You don't look bad yourself..." I whispered back.

"I have made a decision!" He said.

"What?"

"Next time I bring you to human realm I am going ask a witch to tie you to me. Because you get lost in the crowd very well and I got left behind." He said sipping on his drink.

"You won't have too! I promise I will be by your side next time." I said sipping my own drink.

"Miss Cassandra, would you do the honor of dancing with me?" Suddenly Kade asked extending his hand and bowing down.

"Yeah sure, Mr. Kade" I said giving in my hand.

And then we dragged me to the center and to my surprise everyone let us do it. It was as if they knew that I was someone respected somewhere. Then we danced to the rhythm till it finally went off. Then we all gathered around the dining room.

"Your highness! What a pleasant surprise!" Someone said from behind. When we (we as in Kade and me) turned around we saw Mike.

"Cassandra you are here too. The night is full of surprises!" Mike said and he bowed in front of Kade.

"You know him?" Kade whispered asked me.

"Yeah, we studied together! Well, how do you know him?" I asked.

"Actually, you see His highness helped my father in many battles so our whole kingdom is very grateful of them." Mike said.

"Ohh"

"Wow Mike what are you doing here. Didn't you said that you already had plans?" Suddenly I heard Leah speaking.

"Oh, Leah you are here too!" Mike said turning to the side.

"Yeahh...Cass invited me!"

"Oh, even I was invited but by the host." He said.

"So, your highness I will take my leave now. And one more thing my parents have invited both of you to dinner at our place. Your presence will really honor us." Mike said and took his leave.

"Why was Mike calling you two your highness?" Leah asked.

"Well, his parents are duke in our kingdom so he has too. Plus, Kade here helped them in many things in the past." I explained.

"Okay so should we also bow in front of you and address you as your highness?" Henry asked.

"NO there is no need to." I said

"Cass, I believe you must be pretty hungry let's go and have something." Kade said and we went to the dining room. When we reached, we got champions and human realm king called both me and Kade to his side.

"Today I would like to toast to Princess Cassandra of Witfroley and Prince Kade of Losspinds. We are honored to have them here at such an auspicious day. To celebrate Christmas. So, let's come together and toast to them." He said and we all clanked our glasses together. While Leah and Henry joined us behind. I could feel Leah and her family feeling a little left out. So, I also announced.

"And here is to my best friend who never left my side even when I disappeared and contacted her after day and even when she finds out that I lied to her about some stuff. She was always there for me and I am so happy to finally meet her again after so long. I missed you, Leah. So, this toast is for you, you deserve it." I said and we all again clanked our glasses together.

Then Leah mouthed Thank you to me. And then we all sat on our seats and had the rest of the dinner talking. Well actually they were just talking about me and it was very boring so when we were done there was again a dance it was the last one for tonight. And I don't if Kade is obsessed with dancing or what. He again dragged me to stage. And that where I finally saw Anna with Bash. I wasn't able to find them during dinner. After finally dancing and bidding goodbyes to everyone we left with Leah. We dropped Leah and Henry and then we went to our house. We all were very tired so I decided to ask Anna why she was nowhere to be found in the party tomorrow. Then we went to our rooms. Kade and my room faced each other. So, it was just us who went upstairs both Leah's and Bash's room where down. And Emily was already asleep on the couch while watching tv.

"I really enjoyed the night with you." Kade said.

"Me too!" I said back.

"And you dance well...we should attend more balls I presume. You looked like a goddess in that dress of your when we're dancing." he added.

"Thanks, Kade...You were too." I said and then I went inside my room. I could feel my checks turning. I was a laughing monkey right now.

I took a nice warm bath and changed into my PJ's and went to bed.
