CHAPTER XXXII

ℂ𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕣𝕒'𝕤 ℙ𝕠𝕧;

"Yeah, we wanted to discuss something's with you..." Mom said.

"Okay, fine" I said back

"So if you are familiar with the Enaid thing we have.....it's like you all have your own soulmates already made for you and the witches you have been training with for the past few months are the ones who help you find yours.....actually that there only work but they said that you possessed special powers so they came and taught you personally......and also there is a specific age by which a royal must marry their daughters because you see we are more powerful than other so that is why, it is best if we marry them by 21 so me and your mother here have decided that why not see who your enaid is on your birthday only?? But listen before you answer recklessly remember the process is not very easy going it has different effects on everyone!" My father said.

"Ohhh ok father shall I give you my answer by lunch??" I said and he nodded and with that I left and went my secret place in the garden. To clear my head and properly think. As dad said it have effects. Wait am I even ready to get married?? I don't even know if I want to get married yet. I am not sure if I really want this...Also where the hell is Kade when I need him?

To find Kade I went back to the castle. He was in the yard shooting. I grabbed his hand and dragged him to my secret place and didn't a word on the way.

"Cassandra what happened?" He asked

"I am soon going to get married! The witches are going to find me my enaid on my birthday...It is not yet fully decided, dad have asked that should we do it on my birthday or not. But the marriage part is decided most probably." I said and he silently listened.

"What's your age?" He asked...why was he asking my age at such time.

"It's going to be 21 this birthday. But how does it matter?" I said.

"It does all the royal element witches should be married before they turn 22 or 23. If they are not married by max 25, they lose all their magic and without magic we die. And don't worry about that enaid thing...Who knows who it would be? Everything is going to be fine!" He said and gently soothed my shoulder.

"Why should all royal element witches be get married by 22?" I asked

"Actually, you all are powerful then others and at this age period you are at your peak of magic and in the old times by the time they turned 30 all their magic would have become old also they say you are rare so..." He explained.

"Okay.....But Kade I am very nervous, scared and I don't know what else I am feeling." I said and started pacing around.

"It's okay, come sit first and take deep breaths and calm down." he said

I did what he said and he pulled me closer to him and I was instantly feeling at peace. He must be using his mood powers. I just laid my head on his shoulder and played everything that my dad and Kade have said. If not on my birthday, someday I will have to go through it. Why not do it early so then I can even get to know my enaid before marrying him.

We stayed like that till the lunch announcement was made. As it happened, we went to the dining room. I could feel desperation in everyone's eyes when seeing me. I silently had my lunch first and when I was done, I decided to tell me what I have decided.

"Mom Dad, I am ready...let's do the ritual on my birthday only." I said.

"Dear we have decided to do it just a day before just to be safe. And then we can also tell everyone the good news on your birthday." Dad said.

"Oh, that's a really nice idea!" I said and the I went back to my room to take a nice, warm, long bath. I really needed it.

After taking bath I read a book. The time flew and it was dinner time. I had dinner, talked to Leah, still not telling her about the marriage thing. And then went to bed only to turn and twist all night and sleep by 3-4 am.
