CHAPTER XXXVIII

𝔻𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕜'𝕤 ℙ𝕠𝕧;
Me and Cassandra went down to backyard. I wanted to talk to her about the wedding because earlier in the day when her Friend Leah asked her if she was happy, I saw that she started to feel uncomfortable and even her eyes started to become teary if I was not wrong.

"Aren't you happy with the wedding?" I straightforwardly asked her.

"I am" She lied again. I could clearly tell it.

"Cassandra, I don't like lies nor I have time." I asked again.

"I am not! Why would I even be?" She said with rage slowly overpowering her with a hint of sadness.

"Why?" I asked clueless. "Weren't you the one who wanted to?" I asked.

"No, I never wanted this. It was already written and I didn't have any say in it. And what do you mean by why! You tell me would you want to marry someone because of whom you had to leave your parents for years and live in a lie!" She shouted with rage.

I finally understand the whole enaid thing. And I couldn't help but feel bad for the things my parents and everyone did to her. Also, I couldn't help but to have a hankering feeling to hug her right now and run my finger through her white hairs. Which looked totally perfect on her. So, I once again tried to listen to my heart after so long and hugged her.

ℂ𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕣𝕒'𝕤 ℙ𝕠𝕧;

Suddenly Derek came forward and hugged me. And I couldn't help but burst into tears. I felt safe in his arms and a hint of care.

She started to cry in my arms and I just hugged her tighter and ran my fingers in her hairs to comfort her. I didn't leave her till she was fine.

"I am sorry!" I said, I couldn't help but feel as if I was the reason all this happened to her.

"For?" She asked.

"I always thought that you wanted this marriage and everything. Today I realized that even you didn't have a choice and for you it was more pain than it was for me and I will try to be a good person to you in the future." I said sincerely.

"Thank you!" She said and then we both went inside. She went up to her room and I went to the kitchen to eat something. When Fredrick joined me.

"You should be nicer to Cassandra. She too is going through a lot." He said.

"Yeah, I will from now" I said back.

"I am sure she is not like Natalie; she is much better. I can somehow feel it!" He said and I truly hope he is right and she doesn't end up being like Natalie.

Then we talked more about stuff and then went back to our own room. I talked to Louis and told him that we will be picking up on our way back to London. Then I too went to sleep.

I woke up with a beautiful sun shining in my eyes. Really, I missed sun the most. I then went to wash up. And got ready I wore black jeans, white full sweatshirt and black leather jacket with white boots. And tied my hair in high pony tail and did a nude makeup as usual.

Then I went down, made myself a coffee and sipped it during sitting outside under sun.

Soon everyone came down and we made pancakes for breakfast and soon left for airport. Me and Leah watched a short film and talked during the flight when we landed in Tronto. For Louis we stayed there for an hour and then we were again on our way to London. After reaching there I did as I was told to do. I used Derek's and Frederick's energy to create portal and we all quickly crossed it.
