CHAPTER XXXIX

Cassandra's Pov

After the busy day, we went to our rooms. We now had to share one room, and I was not comfortable with that. But I had no choice, so I went in first to take a shower. After that, I sat by the window looking out. The kingdom never had light. It was always so dark that I used to get scared before but now I have adjusted to it, but it does not mean I will not try my best to lift up this curse. I wonder what that person go get this bad of a curse.

Then Derek came out of the bathroom, in his sleep wears and we laid down and I was fast asleep.

Next Day.

I woke and stretched my arms and went into the shower after looking outside. I had totally forgotten that I was now sharing a room with Derek. But I was still not sure about my clothes being here. Also, I haven't seen him yet. After showering I wore a black legging, white t-shirt, big furry jacket and boots. Then I went down to have breakfast.

Kade's word still lingered around my mind, and I just couldn't get them out. After thinking about it a lot, I decided that I have to talk this out. And asked a maid to call Kade in the garden. Everyone who had come yesterday went back, and some who wanted to stay were still resting.

I walked in the garden, when I heard footsteps behind me. It was Kade.

"Kade, why did you do this to me?" I asked after remaining quiet for a while.

"I just couldn't keep the feeling inside anymore. And I don't believe this enaid thing is true because if it was you must have been in love with Derek by now," He stated, well he did got a point but still...

"I know, soon when you will find your enaid, which I know you will soon. You would forget about all the crushes you had till now, and she will be the only women in your eyes." I said, and I really hoped for it too. I am sure he will get his enaid soon.

"Whatever, but I am sorry for burdening you with this. I just could not keep it anymore and I know you already have a lot on your plate. So just tell me what I can do to help." He said and the first thing that came to my mind was to get him away from me just till he finds his enaid.

Because I can't stay in his presence, it hurt me. And I wanted him gone. At least for some time.

"Go back to Losspinds, or where ever you want to. That is what I want you to do!" I said.

"You can't do that to me. I know it must feel weird with me around now but still!" He said.

"Kade, I said what I wanted you to do. Now it's up to you to follow it or just ignore it. I can't do anything to prevent you from doing what you want to!" I said and just slowly continued to walk.

"Fine, I will leave in a few days." He said, and I felt sad, but I know it was important.

Then we went back to the castle, and I still walked around. When witch Isobel came and joined me. I bowed in front of her.

"Isobel, is there a way I could bring the sunlight back to this kingdom?" I asked.

"Yes, there is, but first you will have to learn dark magic!" She states.

"Well then, teach me!" I said.

"Okay now come, let's start the class!" She said, and we started.

After 2 hours of continues training, we took a break. I was very impelled to learn dark magic and remove the curse of the sun. I know I couldn't learn it today only, but I still had to try my best. After, 15 minutes break, we moved on with our practice. By the time it ended, it was 5:30pm, so I went back to mine and Derek's room to freshen up and get ready for dinner.
