CHAPTER XXV

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Me and kade talked for some time and then we both went to our rooms and washed up. When I went to my room I saw Anna sitting on my bed and was lost in her thoughts. I just went closer and lightly put my hand on her shoulder. And she quickly turned towards me.

"What we're you thinking?? You looked lost in your thoughts!" I said to her.

"Nothing...btw I came because I can't decide what tk wear for the evening. I am so nervous! I have never been to a human party before!" She said all panicked.

"Anna relax, everything will be fine and human parties are same as the one we have just they don't have access to magic. And dont worry you look good in each and every outfit you have ever wore. And just have some faith in yourself and everything will be fine." I comforted her.

"Thanks Cass....I really appreciate it!" She said and left the room. I could totally understand her feeling right now. Because I too had the same one when I first went to the party in Witfroley. I was hella nervous.

After she left I went to take bath. I wore simple and comfortable cloths. Then I went down to have breakfast. We all were having breakfast happily. Then we watched some good movie together. It was around 5:30pm. So we went upstairs to get dressed.

I wore...

Anna wore...

Kade wore...

And once again Emily bailed plus she was taking advantage of being older. As we can't force her. So we had no choice but to agree to her wishes. The lino was already waiting for us on our door. The human realm king had threw a Christmas ball and I had invited Leah's family in it. I don't know who all would be joining but I just hope it won't be boring. I even gave Leah two extra invitation card in case she wanted to invite someone. And I was damn sure about one thing. That she will surely invite Henry, her new bf. She have been telling me about him for so long. So I believe we would be expecting him and his family and I don't know who will get the other one.

We reached the ball by 8pm. Just perfect on time. I was feeling a little sad that Anna was not having any date to the ball so I called Bash yesterday only for her. So I believe he must be inside already. And as I expect there he was standing by the door waiting. I was so glad I invited him or Anna would feel lonely and I didnt wanted that. So Kade accompanied me inside followed by Bash and Anna.

The party was getting started. So we went directly to the human realm king. Some royal duties you can say. The king was very happy to meet us. After chatting with him for a while Leah finally messaged that she was there. So me and Kade went to the entrance to welcome her inside because both Bash and Anna were busy with each other.

We went to the entrance and I just couldn't recognize her in first glance. I mean I did tell her to wear a gown as it was a ball but I didn't expect she would look like this.

She looked like a true goddess. And her date was Henry as expect he wore....

They both looked like a perfect match. She told me that she gave one invitation to Henry and she wanted to give the other one to Mike but he was busy. So she kept it with herself only. After introducing Kade and Henry, me and Leah slipped away to the balcony. And it was finally time for me to tell her that the deepest secrets, which I have been hiding for so long.
