TOMMY POV:
Tommy woke up on his gaming chair, disoriented. I guess I did need sleep after all. I didn't even make it to my bed! Nice one Tommy.
He looked at the name he'd scribbled on his arm the day before. Y/N's name. I better write that in my - where's my phone?
"Big P?" he called out.
"Yes, Mr. Innit?" The robot's voice came from the floor. Tommy sighed and picked it up, holding it flat in his palm while closing his eyes.
"Do I have any new notifications?"
"Notifications: six tagged tweets; fifty two discord messages; one text from Wilbur the Brother; two missed calls from Tubbo."
"Check missed calls," Tommy instructed, sitting up and opening his eyes. "Do I have any voicemail?"
"One voicemail from: Tubbo."
"Play voicemail."
"Hi Tommy!" Tommy smiled as he heard Y/N. "I have no idea if this will work or not. I mean the phone calls can time travel but what about voicemail? Then again, texts don't work...that other missed call was me, by the way. I called to see if you were available and then realized I probably should have tested this. I think, even though we're in different timezones, ours sync up for some reason. Or maybe you're in America right now? I'm definitely not in Britain. You might be asleep right now, but I thought I'd check this out anyways! Bye Tommy!"
Tommy was a bit saddened when the voicemail ended. Y/N technically wasn't a friend - at least not yet - but if they were, they would be one of his few friends that didn't know or wasn't involved with his streaming. They'd be his friend to be his friend.
But they could just be pretending after all. I need to do something that will prove it.
He called Y/N/Tubbo.
"Hi big man!"
"Oh, hi Tubbo," Tommy said in surprise. "I might call you a few times, don't think anything of it. Answer if you can though."
"...O...k."
"Knew I could count on you! Bye Tubbo!" He hung up and immediately called 'Tubbo's contact again. Well it is Tubbo's number. But also magic Y/N's?
"Big ma - " Tommy hung up before Tubbo even finished saying hi. I probably should have waited a little longer, I feel bad now... He called the shared contact back.
"Big man?"
"Sorry Tubbo! I'm trying to do something but I didn't mean to cut you off."
"It's okay I think."
"Can you say one word whenever I call you?"
"Alright?" Tommy hung up. He called again.
"Tommy - " He repeated the action, getting a bit frustrated.
"Hello - " Repeat.
"Big - " Repeat. "What - " Repeat. "Alright - " Repeat. "Well I - " Repeat. "I guess - " Repeat. "You - " Repeat. "Are bu - " Repeat. "Busy - " Repeat.
Tommy threw his phone on his phone, groaning. He put his head in his hands. Why can't it just go to Y/N? Out of all the times I want to actually call them it goes to Tubbo! I love Tubbo but I want to call Y/N. I want to call you Y/N. I want to call you.
He sighed loudly, tapping his fingers on his chair's armrest. I should just write the correct spelling of their name in my notes. Oh yeah, I threw my phone. I guess I won't. Why'd I do that again? Right, I got mad. I got mad because I can't call a dead person? Am I okay? No, I literally just admitted to trying to call a dead person. I am at insanity's peak. I need sleep. Wait, I just woke up! Am I getting memory issues? Or getting brain damage? Brain damage would definitely explain everything that's going on. I need Y/N to plant something physical for me to find. But how do I contact them?
