Chapter 16 - Can't Get Over You

A loud beeping noise startled Y/N awake. They sat up with their eyes closed, fumbling around for their phone.

"Where the heck are you," they whispered, still moving their hand around. They came across it and opened one eye to snooze, glancing at the time. They shouted hoarsely, "What? Since when has it been 10:30? I set it for 10, when in the holy heckity hecking heck did I snooze the alarm?" They fell back with a groan. "I was going to have a good schedule. I was going to. But tired me said nah, suffer. I was going to have a good schedule. At least it's only thirty minutes?"

"I-I only left you for thirty minutes! I swear I didn't want anything to happen - "

"Thirty minutes is a long time, Y/N!"

"Shut up brain," Y/N grumbled. "Too early for flashbacks. I want a drink not a trauma dump." They took a juice box out of the fridge and sipped on it while checking texts.
