TOMMY POV:

"Yeah, I'm sorry, I was really impatient about something but I shouldn't've been so rude."

"It's alright big man!" Tubbo said brightly. "I've done the same to you!"

"It's not, it was still rude - wait, what? When?"

"A few weeks ago, remember? I hung up on you a few times while you were talking."

"Oh yeah...but that was for jokes and content, I was just doing it rudely."

"Ignorantly," Tubbo corrected.

"What?"

"Sure it was rude but it was more ignorant. You didn't know or think about what you were doing."

"Well, it was rude and ignorant of me then. I really am sorry though." Tommy ruffled his hand through his hair, his finger snagging on a tangle. He glared at it while Tubbo responded.

"Thanks for that Tommy! Is that going to happen again?"

"Uhm...maybe..." Tommy said, still distracted by the tangle. He yanked and accidently pulled out a few pieces of hair. He stared at them. "It might happen again. The calling I mean. I promise I won't be so awful though."

"Do you mind telling me why it's happening?" Tommy dusted his broken hair off his hands onto the floor.

"I don't really know if I want to talk about it yet. I'll probably tell you soon, I hope I can." Tommy picked the hair back off the floor. This goes in the bin, not on the ground.

"Alright then. Are you okay?"

"Yes."

"Are you safe?"

"Yes."

"Are you alone?"

"Yes."

"Are you going to be in trouble?"

"Yes. Wait no. You can't rapid fire questions and then do that!" Tubbo laughed loudly, Tommy quickly joined him.

"I think I'm gonna stream. Do you want to join?"

"Nah, I have plans of my own for right now. Bye Tubster."

"Bye Tommy." Tubbo hung up. Tommy checked the time. 12:16. I should've asked Y/N when they got off work. I might have to wait ages! Maybe I just st - I mean search them up again. Dangit Y/N! I keep almost saying stalk because of you. I'm not stalking! I'm just using the internet to find stuff out...I am stalking. I am definitely stalking. Tommy eyed his computer, wondering if he should try to find Y/N online. Consequences if I tell them I did it on the phone, but who says I have to? They're dead anyways...but they're alive? This is confusing. I'm just gonna do it. I know how to spell their name now, anyways.

He typed Y/N's name into the computer and started searching.

Y/N POV:

At 16:00 (4 PM) Y/N could clean up after their last shift. The time after shifts usually took about 15 minutes, closer to 30 minutes on a bad day. Y/N cleaned up as quickly as they could, knowing that Tommy was waiting for them.

Or I think he is. He said he would be. He probably isn't though, we both have a life outside of this weird link. Besides, we don't know each other that well, Y/N argued to themself.

Well there is one thing. You're busy but you're thinking about it. About the calls, about him. It is literally all you have thought about today - except how much you want to leave this place. If you're thinking about it, it's likely he'll do the same.
