Dear Journal

My wife is dead I have started to take it out on Adalind its that little shit's fault her father is in town I trapped him somewhere no one will ever find him

--

Vivian got into the car with her mother after reading the journals she was upset with her mother. Despite the fact that she was the nice one of the group she could be just as bad as them when need be."You are going back to New York and leaving me here?"

Ainsley looked at her daughter not believing that her golden child had just said that to her. "Who do you think you are talking to."

"My mother who forgot to inform me that she knew Adalind the entire time." Vivian knew the things that her best friend had been through. And now she was angry that her mom could have helped her and could have brought her home but had chosen not to. "So you're going to ask Aviana can I stay and you're going to go track down your brother."

"Excuse me he is dead." Ainsley had wished she could have helped her brother that she would have told him but it was too late for that now.

"Not according to this journal where Warren and Brooklynn documented everything they did to Adalind and how he trapped Uncle Warren." Vivian wanted to do right by her best friend  since it was her mother who had ruined it for her. "You are going to go find him got it."

"Fine."

--

Adalind was sitting in the living room with her brothers and Aviana they were interrogating her. They wanted to make sense about why they didn't know she owned any of them things. Or why she had jumped out of the window and attempted to run away. "Knife where did you get it from."

"Not telling you." Adalind didn't want to tell them and technically she didn't have to it was her property and that was all they needed to know.

"You know how to shoot a gun?" Justin asked he didn't think that he could but with her attitude he knew there was a possibility.

"No" Adalind scoffed she didn't think they were serious she had just turned 16 and they thought she knew how to shoot a gun. She wasn't Amanda she wasn't raised that way.

"Who gave it to you then?" Aviana asked if she didn't know how to shoot it then she shouldn't have it in her possession because she knew something could potentially go wrong at any moment.

Adalind groaned seeing that she wasn't going to get out of this. "I took it from the safe when my idiot brothers let me grab all my things alone with the cash. Legally its all mine because they died."

"Legally you can be arrested if you are caught with it." Aviana didn't care who she was she was worse then some of her brothers and that was a bad trait. Especially considering some of them were active members in the Mafia.

"Whose gonna catch me?" Adalind asked, from what she had seen no one really cared about it because of who she was. Even Korey had said she would get everything she wanted she was scared and Adalaind hadn't even known why. "Their all scared of you at least that's what Korey had to say. So while you are worried about what I'm hiding the better question is what are you guys hiding."

"Family Business." Lorenzo said he knew that they couldn't tell her right now it was to soon.

"I am Family remember." Adalind didn't think this was a fair she was a member of their family she had the right to be in on whatever they were apart of. She didn't like that they were singling her out like she wasn't family.

"You're not old enough." Aviana knew that they were going to need to give it some time before they dropped the they were the leaders of the Italian Mafia on her lap. She deserved to get situated first it was only fair.

Adalind stood up now upset she didn't want to hear anything else from them. She was family and it was unfair that she was being kept in the dark. She had wanted to trust them and tell them the truth but she wasn't sure if she could now. "Can I go now?"

"You're grounded." Aviana didn't like the lies and secrets that Adalind was keeping. She didn't want to let her in on the dangerous part of their lives if she couldn't be upfront with them.

"Whatever take it all ground me i could care less. I don't want to be here anyway I would rather be in Juvie. " She put her phone on the couch and ran upstairs to her room. She didn't care if she was grounded it wouldn't change anything for her.

"What do we do now?" Matteo asked he knew they were going to have to figure out something. They couldn't tell her just yet but they had to let her know something.

"She's out of control."  Zander said he knew they were going to have to do something they couldn't lie to her. Eventually, she would grow to hate them and he didn't want that.

"She hasn't been here a week." Lukas knew they were going to have to give her a break they needed to let her to adjust to what happened.

"What happened?" Aviana asked she wasn't sure what had happened for Adalind to find out that their family business was dangerous. Someone said something to her who wasn't supposed to.

"I don't know all I know is that she went to cheer practice." Dion didn't know anything other than that and honestly he really didn't want to. His sister was akrady scaring the fuck out of him.

Justin looked over to his brother knowing that he was going to need to fix this problem. "She said Korey you can't control your pet why is she mouthing off to Adalind."

"It's my fault I sleep with the girl she;s not my girlfriend i don't control her." Jaylen had nothing to say he'd say something to her but this was not his fault.

Justin scoffed he didn't care if he was dating her he was going to have to do something to make sure she said nothing else to Adalind. "Put her on a fucking leash. She can't open her mouth again to Adalind."

"Fine."

--

Aviana was sitting in the office when her phone started to ring. She picked it up seeing that it was Ainsely calling. She picked it up confused.  "Hey Ainsley what's up?"

"I was wondering if Vivian could stay with you for a little while so i can handle something." Ainsley was hoping that  Aviana wouldn't ask any questions she didn't have time to explain right now.

"That's fine." Aviana knew that probably would make it easier for Adalind to adjust to everything.

"Thank you so much."

"No problem."

--

Jaylen texted Korey walking up to her house. She came and opened the door. He knew they were right he needed to have a talk with her.

She was just happy that he was stopping by she felt like she hadn't seen him with the holidays as of late. "Hey come in."

"We need to talk?" Jaylen wanted to make things clear  when it came to Adalind. He didn't care how long he knew she was his sister. This was his sister and that was it.

"About?"

"What you said to my sister?" Jaylen wanted to make it clear his little sister didn't know her family was Mafia. And they needed to keep it that way as long as possible,

"I-"

"Don't lie to me keep your mouth shut about what y'all know." He just needed to make sure that they were the ones who told her but only when she was ready to hear it. "Just because the rest of the school knows that we're in a Mafia doesn't mean my sister does."

"She took my spot she is coming in and ruining my life."

"Well whatever you said made her jump out the window and attempt to run away. So don't do anything or else."

"Seriously."

"This is my little sister don't do it again."
