It was the day before her first day of school. She had come up with a routine for while she was there. One she hoped she could stick to and that gave her the least amount of interaction time with her brothers and stepmother.
She was sitting in her room reading when there was a knock at the door. She got up going to open it seeing Justin. She wasn't sure what he was coming to bother her for. "Yes."
"Your things arrived. Along with the other stuff she ordered for you." Justin knew Aviana was taking finally getting a daughter to an entirely new level.
"Other stuff?" Adalind asked confused not sure what he was talking about. She knew she had picked out a lot at the mall but she didn't get what other stuff Aviana would get for her.
Justing scoffed thinking it was hilarious Adalind didn't think there would be many other things. "You're her first daughter she's spoiling you. I think you're already her favorite." No, he knew she was already Aviana's favorite because she had wanted a daughter for a long time and now she had one.
"Ok." She knew that the house was nothing but boys that must be why Aviana had fun taking her to the mall.
"Come on." He knew she was going to need to see what all she got.
She groaned getting up and following him downstairs and there were bags everywhere. "Oh. Is this all mine?" She hadn't thought she had gotten that much, but it looked like she had.
"Yup." He knew Aviana had gone up and above because not only did the boys have more stuff than she did and she was a girl but she never got the chance to be spoiled like them.
"Wow." She knew he said she got a lot and Aviana had gotten her more but she hadn't thought it was that much stuff.
Aviana walked in to see the brothers standing around. She didn't get why they were not helping them. "You know you could help her get this stuff up to her room."
"Right." They all agreed to start to grab different things and started to take it upstairs.
"I'm going to be doing this all day." She knew she was going to have a long day trying to organize everything and putting it away.
Aviana knew it would be worth it when she got everything where she wanted and she knew Vivian was excited to help. "It'll be fun for you Vivian's coming over she said she wants to help you."
"Thank god." She was happy she was going to have Vivian to help her sort out everything knowing it would go faster that way.
"At least now she'll have more stuff than us."
"So rude."
--
Adalind was starting to unpack everything placing it where it goes when there was a knock at the door."Come in."
Vivian opened the door stopping in her tracks she knew they had said she had a lot more stuff but she hadn't thought they meant this much. "Wow."
Adalind looked at her giving her a shrug she knew they definitely had gone overboard with the shopping.
"This is going to take us a while." Vivian knew together it would be faster but this was still a lot of stuff for them to do.
"I didn't realize it was so much stuff." Yeah Adalind grabbed stuff from each store and apparently Aviana had gotten her more stuff but she hadn't known it would amount to this much stuff.
"All the girls are young except me and you." Vivian wasn't surprised at all that they had decided they wanted to spoil Adalind and get her anything she wanted. "Of course, they spoiled you."
"Oh."
"Let's get this done."
--
The rest of the family was sitting in the living room. He did wonder how overboard his stepmother had gone. "How much extra stuff did you buy her."
She had gotten her a lot of extra stuff but it was mainly because she didn't have a lot. Or at least that was the excuse she was going to use. "I told the workers to pick clothes similar to her style in her size and you said she liked to read."
"Oh, you went overboard." Lukas knew before Adalind had came they had always joked about how their mother would be if she had a daughter and now she was doing just that with Adalind.
"Leave me alone. All of y'all are assholes." She loved all of her sons but she hated them so much sometimes.
"How?"
Aviana groaned about tired of them she knew they had somethings they needed to discuss. Like why they all were stalling like she wanted to be in charge of the Bianchi Mafia for the rest of her life. "Can we start with one of you should have a son or daughter right now but you are refusing."
Lorenzo shook his head he had been purposely being extra careful he wasn't interested in taking over his father's Mafia. He was just hoping one of his brothers would hurry and fuck up. "I don't want to take over I'm waiting for one of them to fuck up."
"And why do one of us have to do it your the oldest." Dion was the literal youngest of them all and he did not want to be the one who had to take over. He just wanted one them to mess up or just decide to start a family either worked with him.
"I don't want to be in charge of the mafia." He had never wanted it he had only been helping Aviana until someone stepped up.
"Well if your sister gets pregnant then she takes it ." Aviana hoped they didn't plan on keeping Adalind in the dark about this for long she knew it was their decision or fuck up with how this was going to go.
"And if someone tells her she'll definitely take precautions." Zander was sure she wasn't going to want to be in control of the families Mafia.
Justin shot him a glare not liking how he had said it he was refusing to just not tell her about it. She deserved to have the choice just like all of them. "We're not forcing our little sister to take the Mafia because we don't want it."
"Can we at least give her the option?" Maybe they would get lucky and she would want to take over but none of them were going to know until they gave it to her.
"When it's time to tell her about everything yes we can tell her about the rule."
