Adalind unlocked the door to her house it was trashed and their was blood on the floor. She cringed slightly just happy she wasn't here when it had happened. "Just give me a few minutes."

She ran upstairs to her room grabbed the two suitcases and put them on her bed she pulled a duffle bag down and put them. She put clothes in one the worn shoes she had in the other and she ran to her stepfather's room putting her bag on the bed she went to the closet and grabbed the safe down. If he was dead the least he could do was help her out after everything he put her through. She wasn't sure how this was going to go or if she really wanted to stay with them.

She put in the code his wedding date with her mother which made her shiver she didn't understand why her mother had married him to begin with. She opened it seeing wads of cash, a gun, pictures, a pocketknife and a book she put it all in the duffle bag. Going over to her mom's old jewelry box and putting it in the duffle bag she went back to her room grabbing her laptop chargers a map her photo album tasers and a few other important things in it. She put jackets over everything and a few shirts making sure it was covering everything before zipping everything up.

"You can come up now?" Now that she had everything put up she didn't care what they were to see.

She heard her brothers coming up the stairs they walked into the room looking around."What type of room is this?"

"Umm, my mother was poor and didn't work. Stepfather was no better it called working with what you got." And unfortunately, she didn't really have much of anything. At least from her mother or stepfather, she didn't. What she had for herself she was keeping to herself. "Not everyone was born and raised with money."

She grabbed her duffle bag no way that she was letting that out of her sight. She didn't need them seeing what was inside of it. Each of her brothers grabbed a suitcase.

"This is everything you have?" Justin was sure he had more stuff than she did which didn't make any sense cause she was a girl. And they were all known to always have more stuff.

"Say another stupid question i am willing to ruin my clean record." She knew that she didn't have the best childhood growing up. She knew that she didn't have a lot of stuff but it was just how things were she couldn't change it no one could. She walked past them and headed downstairs she looked around one last time she was not going to miss this place.

Matteo and Justin walked downstairs seeing her looking around. Matteo walked over to his sister he knew this was going to be a lot for her. "You ready?"

"Don't ask stupid questions." Of course, she was ready she couldn't stand to stay in this house any longer than she had to. She went to the door opened it and walked out.

The two looked at each other they could already tell she was going to make things difficult for them. "She is definitely our sister."

"Yup and apparently she doesn't like our mother." Some of the siblings had in common others liked disagreed and really missed her. "She doesn't know how lucky she was not to be thrown into our life."

"Let's go." Well, it didn't matter because soon she would know who her family was. This wasn't a secret they could hide from her for long it was her family legacy.

They followed her out she was already in the backseat she looked to be on the phone with someone."No me iré por mucho tiempo Tengo un historial limpio Regresaré al final de nuestro año"(I won't be leaving for long I have a clean record I will be back at the end of our year) She had wanted to call her best friend and let her know what was going on.

"Aún puedes ser una familia que realmente se preocupa por ti, suena como un sueño. Sé que te han lastimado mucho, pero dales una oportunidad a tus hermanos y a tu madrastra, por favor, Adalind, dales una oportunidad."(You can have  a family that really cares about you sounds like a dream I know you've been hurt a lot, but give your brothers and stepmom a chance, please Adalind give them a chance.)
