PRAGUE'S CARNIVAL OF LIGHTS.

The festival that I was most excited about tonight, Mr Harrington had told us to rest up and get ready to go out in a few minutes. I straightened up my dress to prevent wrinkles. I'm not really the type of person to wear a dress but I decided that tonight may be the best night of the Europe tour. We were all waiting for the last students to join and for Mr Harringotn to escort us to the festival.

"So, it's said that there will be a Ferris Wheel that overlooks the entire city." Betty stated, looking at the festival brochure that was on the front reception desk, "Do you want to go on it together babe?" She linked her arms with Ned as he smiled, "Of course, babe."

"Do you want to go on it together with me, Y/N?" Ed asked suddenly, I looked at MJ, who looked annoyed. MJ and I were planning on going together as we didn't spend as much time as we wanted on this trip, due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Um, actually MJ and I were planning on going together," I apologized, "Sorry."

Ed chuckled and waved his hand, showing that it was okay, "Oh no, that's alright! I mean we can also go next time." He gave a wide grin, it was obvious that smile was to cover up his hurt from my rejection. I felt bad.
"If there is next time," MJ added, emotionlessly.

I tapped MJ, noting her to be quiet. There is something I love about MJ, which is being straightforward and brutally honest. I do like that part in her but sometimes that type of honesty is just too much for some to handle, "What? It's the truth. We're probably not going to come back here."
Ed chuckled nervously, "No she's right!"

"Good news everyone!" Mr Harrington called, which made all of us stand up, excitedly ready to go, "We're going to the opera!"
"No way," I said, disappointment filled inside of me. A wave of groans filled the hotel lobby. Flash suddenly pushed his way out of the group towards our two teachers.

"You're kidding me, the Opera?!" He argued, sounding very annoyed, "That's for nerds!"

"Flash you are a nerd," MJ added, "If you're spending your summer holidays studying abroad. We all are nerds." Flash just rolled his eyes.

"Please Mr Harrington, what happened to the carnival?" Betty pleaded, "Can't we go there instead?"
Our whole class looked at our two teachers in hope - we really wanted to go to the festival. That was the only thing I was excited about Prague.

Mr Harrington sighed, "Guys! Come on! This is an upgrade in living! We're going to the Opera!" The whole group groaned and protested. We decided to beg Mr Dell as we know he has a soft spot for us students.

"The tour company just gave us these tickets for free, sorry guys." He defended, "Opera tickets are really expensive, so we're lucky."

Mr Harrington held up the tickets, "Do you guys have any idea on how much these tickets cost?" We all shook our heads in response, I do know that Opera tickets are expensive but I wasn't interested.

"No, because none of us have ever wanted to go to the opera, ever," Flash spoke on behalf of our group. We all agreed to what he said.

"Wow, for the first time what Flash said is right," Betty replied, nodding her head.

Ned shrugged, "Well I actually think this Opera is going to be culturally enriching for all of us."
