[14] THE GRADUATION

THE GRADUATION

-6 months later-

The calendar on my desk is highlighted with a bright color, indicating that graduation day is tomorrow! Time is going by so fast. I can't believe a year has gone by.

It seems like only yesterday that Peter and I were working on our science project.

After I helped Peter when he got beaten up by Flash, we became closer friends, and Harry and MJ were extremely happy to know that someone's got Peter's back when they are not there.

As I greet the avengers before going to school, Tony insists on driving me to school, and he does, but he drives one of his "modest" cars.

When we arrive, I wave Tony goodbye and head to meet Peter's friends.

"So, tomorrow is graduation day." I say. "Are you excited?"

"Of course!" Mary Jane exclaims. "Can you believe it? Tomorrow we will all be graduates."

"It seems like yesterday that we started hanging out." Peter says, everyone nodding.

"Soooo...What are we doing on our last day of high school?" Harry asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well," he pauses, "it's our last chance to be together as a group, and the last day of being high school students. I think we should have some fun. Do something big and make some memories."

"How about we take pictures around the city?" I say.

"Hmm....that doesn't sound bad. I like that idea." Peter says. "Sounds fun."

"You guys are no fun." Harry whines.

"He probably wants to throw a party." Mary Jane says. "But I say we have all day, so we can do it all!"

"Let's go!"

"Our ride will be here in a second."

Much like Harry said, a few seconds later a limousine pulls up.

We stop at different places throughout the ride, Peter and I mostly quiet as we watch the other two have fun, both very full of energy.

"Oh! Now that we are out and about, we should go look at some dresses for tomorrow!"

After getting back to the limo and driving for a while, we stop in front of a fancy looking store.

Peter and I look at each other sharing the same thought, this is too fancy and expensive.

Harry seems to notice because he says, "Don't worry guys, I'm paying for everything. Take it as a graduation gift."

We follow him and Mary Jane into the store.
