"Shh it's gonna be okay Phoenix".

Robin rubbed her back, the sounds of rain drops falling against the window pane. Phoenix had her face buried in her neck, while Robin had her arms wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her closer.

"It's gonna be okay, I'm here" Phoenix clutched her shirt, holding it so tight like Robin would disappear, and she didn't want her escaping from her grasp.

Robin ran her fingers through her hair, she knew Phoenix liked it when she did that, and that it'd comfort her, it always did in situations like this.

Robin hummed a tune, continuing to rub Phoenix's back. Phoenix had stopped crying by then, and she had calmed down, her ragged breaths now calmer and slower.

Robin's humming had calmed her down, and seemed to put her to sleep, her tight grip had loosened, but she still held Robin close to her, which was a sign for her to not leave her side.

Robin softly smiled, happy that she was able to put Phoenix to sleep.
