Tea's p.o.v

"Taylor, it's alright. I'm he-"

"WHO IS THE FUCKTARD THAT GOT MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT?" Dad bursted open the door.

"Dad calm down." I put myself between them.

"Teanna move your ass, I'm goin to kill this boy." He shoved me aside.

"Just wait a second and listen!" I yelled at him.

He stopped and looked at me dumbfounded.

"This is Taylor. Hear what he ha to say before you say you want to kill him." I folded my arms across my chest.

"Two minutes." He sat in a chair.

"Sir, I'm sorry for what I did to your daughter and I know I can never undo it but I live up to my mistakes and I promise you that I would never ever think about leaving her with my mistake." Taylor tried not to stutter.

"Is that all?" Dad raised his eyebrows.

Mom walked in.

I waved her over and she sat down on the couch.

"No. I bought this while in Cali a few weeks before I found out she was pregnant. It was meant to be just a promise ring but it's now, with your permission, an engagement ring."

I gave Taylor a huge smile when he looked up at me.

I was behind dad so he didn't see.

"I promise that I won't ever hurt, disrespect or abuse your daughter and I won't let anyone else. I promise to keep her and the kids s-"

"There's more than one?" Dad almost jumped on Taylor.

"Just listen for a minute dear." Mom said.

"Keep them safe and happy. I would do anything for Vanessa. I love her to death and please sir, allow me to spend the rest of my life with her."

Taylor took the small box out of his pocket and showed him.

Dad looked at mom and she nodded, smiling.

"Taylor."

"Yes sir?"

"I give you permission to marry my daughter."

"Oh thank you sir-"

"But." He cut him off.

"You must keep your promises or else I will kill you."

Taylor nodded.

"I'll go get Vanessa." I ran up the stairs.
