~~4 HOURS LATER~~

Matt's pov.

I woke up, saw that Hayes was still sleeping so I got up and looked at Ethan.

He was awake, but not crying.

"Hey buddy. It's uncle Matt." I picked him up.

"Ooh. Someone needs a new diaper." I grabbed one from the bag and laid him on my bed.

Too tall to stand, I went on my knees and changed his diaper.

"All done." I zipped up his sleeper and lifted him.

"Let's check on your sister and mommy." I opened the door quietly.

Vanessa had Emily in bed with her, so she must have woken up not that long ago.

I closed the door and checked the time.

9:16am.

"Let's see who's all awake upstairs." I carefully went up while Ethan wiggled in my arm.

"We didn't grab your chair I don't think." I looked in the living room, saw a sleeping Tea.

"Awe, look at auntie." I smiled.

Ethan squawked.

"Yeah we did, but it's in the truck." I sighed.

"Let's go outside for a minute." I grabbed a pair of sunglasses, not sure who's, but I put them on.

I opened the door and walked to her truck.

Dropping the tailgate, I heard a car pulling up behind me.

I looked to see who it is.

They slowed down and pulled up behind the truck.

"Shawn?" I asked, walking towards the car.

"Hey, looks like you're busy." He got out.

"What are you doing here?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm here to make breakfast and I brought the groceries we owe ya." He opened the back door.

"Hey can you climb up and grab those chairs up there? Then I'll help you." I pointed at the truck.

"Sure." Shawn smiled and hoped up.

"Thanks bud." I grabbed one chair from him.

"I'll just put him inside and I'll bring in some food." I started walking towards the door.

I saw it open.

Tea squinted at the sun.

"Who's here?" She stepped out of the way so I could get in.

"Mendes. He's got groceries and he said he's making us breakfast." I put the chair on the table.

"Really?" Tea closed the door.

"That's what he told me." I laid Ethan on the chair.

"Cool. Skylynn should be up soon." She looked at the floor.

"Okay, well I'm going to help." I walked past her, stopping to kiss her forehead.

She held the door open.

"Good morning Teanna." Shawn stepped up on the deck.

"Afternoon Mr. Mendes." She said.

I grabbed a few bags and took them in.

Shawn passed me and got more.

"Wow thank you Shawn." I heard Tea say.

"I asked the guys for money, and when they said no, I took $10 from each of their wallets." Shawn set the last few bags on the island.
