Vanessa's pov

I know what she's going to say, I'm just waiting for her to say it first.

"Nes, I love you. And I'm sorry, we didn't really expect all this to happen and it did so here we are. Still living, still breathing. It'll be okay" Tea spoke softly and slowly.

Matt gave her a kiss on the cheek and left the room, leaving us alone.

"Taylor called. He wants to come over and talk. I told him you'd call him if you wanted to speak to him so here's your phone, I charged it" Tea reached into the cupboards and removed my phone.

"Thank you" I whispered, taking it in my hands.

She gave a small smile and exited the room, leaving me to think about calling Taylor or leave him be.

I decided calling him and talking would be best. He was to come over at 7:00, and it was already 6:27. We had talked for almost a half hour, mostly him apologizing and saying he was happy I called.

"Vanessa? Do you need anything?" Matt asked.

"Nope, Taylor will be here soon" I started to pack up our things.

"You told me about 48 times during dinner" Matt chuckled.

I simple shrugged and replied with "whoops"

The babies are both asleep, which will make it easier to get everything packed and once they wake, we can go home.

I sat on the edge of the bed watching the clock on my phone as it slowly turned from a 3, to a 4; making the time now 6:34 and less than a half hour till Taylor would be showing up.

I opened Twitter and quickly typed my first tweet in almost a week.

Longest half hour ever /:

My phone dinged and it was a text from my mom asking how the kids were. I sent back a picture of them saying "perfect" the shut off my phone.

Walking to the bathroom, I turned on some quiet music. "Might as well try and look decent" I sat in front of the mirror and opened my make up kit.

The dark circles were kinda hard to cover so I just applied lotion and some Chapstick.

"Basic and simple" I closed up the bag and brought it back to the bedroom and placed it in with the rest of my things.

"Vanessa?" Someone creeped downstairs. It was Matt.

"Taylor should be here soon, and I was just wondering if you're okay" He awkwardly stood in the door.

I sighed, choosing my words carefully. "Yes Matt, it was just a lot I know. I promise I'll let Tea and you settle and Taylor and I will be fine"

His smile seemed fake and weak. "Alright. I'll see you upstairs"

I nodded and he walked away, leaving me to checking the clock.

6:58pm

I heard the tires pull up so I quickly zipped up everything and waiting for him to enter.
