Vanessa's pov

"Tea!" I yelled. She was freaking out and I wanted to know why.

There was three nurses. Two trying to calm each baby and one trying to calm me.

"It's alright. Well know what happened in a minute dear." The elderly nurse laid me back down.

The babies were both calm,

So the nurses left.

A nurse walked in about 5 minutes later.

"What happened to Teanna?" I shot up.

"She just had a minor panic attack. No big deal. Well calm her down then bring her back." The nurse assured me.

"Just relax. Lay down and she'll be back." She leaned me back.

I laid there with only the quiet noise of the tv and the beeping of the heart monitor.

"Tea?" Matt came rushing in.

"Matthew!" I shot up.

"Where is she?" He looked like he ran here from home.

"Th-they took her to-o a different ro-om." I stuttered.

"What happened?" He almost looked like he was going to cry.

"She had a pa-anic attack. Not sure wh-hy." I stuttered again.

Matt dropped to his knees with a thud.

"You okay?" I asked.

"This is my fault." He shook his head.

"Matt, you weren't even here." I tried to calm him.

"She called and I told her I was coming and she said no but I told her I was on my way and she panicked." Matt totally just laid on the floor. I could hear the odd sniffle.

"Vanessa?" The same nurse knocked on the door.

"She okay?!?" I asked.

"She's alright, we calmed her down and-" She looked at Matt.

"That's her boyfriend. Don't mind him." I waved him off.

"Anyways. She'll be back in a few minutes when the pills kick in." She turned around and was gone.

"Pills? What pills?" Matt lifted his head.

"Matt, it's fine!" I said.

He got up and chased the nurse.

Matt's pov

I raced after that nurse. "What pills?" I grabbed her arm and pulled.

"Ouch! Let me go!" She struggled.

"Sir! Let go of nurse Pennyworth." A man said.

"What pills?" I questioned again.

"Sir." The man pulled my arm off her.

"What pills did you give Teanna!" I screamed.

"Sir! That's none of your business!" Another nurse said.

"I'm her fucking boyfriend! Tell me!" I yelled.

I don't care if I was making a scene. I wanted to know.

"We gave her some pain killers and some sleepy pills to calm her down!" The nurse yelled back.

"Why didn't you say that the first fucking time?" I tried to grab at her.

"Sir. Calm down." The man pulled my arms behind my back.

"Let me see her." I demanded.

"Go sit in her room and she'll be right there." The second nurse said.

"Matt?" Someone said behind me. Her voice was quiet.

"Tea." I turned. "I'm so sorry." My knees gave out as I saw her.

"Is this her?" The guy asked.

"Yes, it is." Nurse Pennyworth said.

"Okay. Thank you Elizabeth." He said.

"Now listen up boy. I'm going to put you in this girls room and I don't want to see, hear or even smell you. Got it?"

I nodded. Scared to do anything else.

He partly dragged me to Tea's room. It was two down from Vanessa's.

A nurse was helping Tea get into a gown.

"Here's your boyfriend." The guy through me into the chair.

"Thank you Adam." The nurse said.

"Tea." I whispered.

She turned her head the other way.

"Tea please. I'm sorry." I pleaded.

She whispered something to the nurse. The nurse nodded then they slowly both got up.

"Tea."

"Tea, I'm sorry."

"Teanna!"

I gave up.

They were already out of the room.

I was left there to cry my eyes out.

Vanessa's pov

I wanted to know what happened. I heard yelling and screams. It's a miracle the babies are still asleep.

I looked at the door and saw Tea being helped in by a nurse.

"Tea, your okay!" I smiled.

She nodded.

"Okay let's lay you down." The nurse guided her to the bed beside mine. She had a pole with an I.V. in her arm.

"Can you please tell me what happened?" I asked the nurse.

"A boy grabbed Elizabeth and yelled at her to tell him what had happened to Teanna. Everything fine now." She spoke quietly.

Matt. That's why the yelling.

"We'll take the babies out of here because you two can't help them." She walked over to the cribs and started to push them out.

"Tea?" I looked at her.

She had a small smile on her face.

"Matt didn't mean it. He's just tired and he acted out. I know your scared but it's alright." I moved my body closer to hers.

Tea nodded.

"I'll call Taylor in the morning and he'll come get us." I wanted her to speak but she was in shock so I'd have to wait.

I nodded then laid down again.

I drifted off into a light sleep and I woke up many times to check on Tea. I'm sure she was doing the same.

Hey :)

I'm sorry for not updating Monday like I said I was. I got called into work and last night homework 😒. But I have now, and I'll try update tomorrow again.

I'm not sure if Matt would really do that but I picture Tea with really bad anxiety and yeah so he's just worried.
