Vanessa's pov.

I heard a little bit of yelling from dad, but after that it was pretty quiet.

There was a knock at the door.

"Tea." I whispered, pulling her into the room.

"Hey, he wants to see you."

I nodded and followed her down the stairs.

It was silent. Mom and dad were sitting and Taylor stood in between them.

"Vanessa Lorene. Why didn't you tell us?"

My dad's loud voice made the hairs on the back of my neck stand.

"I-I-I uhm." I stuttered.

"Well? I'm waiting missy."

"I didn't tell you because I knew you'd be mad and want to kill me and Taylor and prob Tea because of my stupid behavior and the fact that I'm only 17 and I have two kids and I don't have everything put together like you want me too." I stated.

"You are very young to have children." He agreed.

"But I've seen you with daycare kids and I have trust in you that you'll take good care of these kids or you'll have them taken away on you." He finished.

"I love them. And I love Taylor with all my heart and you may think that we're just two teenagers trying to make it in this world and I'm sure we are but I think so anyways, that we can do this by ourselves and they won't get taken from us."

Dad just nodded.

I looked at Taylor, who smiled at me.

"Taylor, is there something you want to say to Vanessa?" Tea asked.

He looked at my dad, who shrugged.

"Can we see them?" Mom stopped Taylor from whatever he was going to do.

Tea looked at me and I nodded.

"One second." She jogged outside.

"I hope you understand that I'm not happy about this but I do have faith in you that you'll make it work." Dad said.

"Thank you daddy." I hugged him.

"Alrighty." Tea returned with one in her arms.

"This is Emily Marie and that one is Ethan Michael." She and Matt cared them to my parents.

"Awe. They're adorable." Mom smiled.

"Thanks." Taylor and I both said.

"I agree. But Taylor." Dad motioned him to say something to me.

Taylor nodded and walked in front of me.

"Vanessa. I love you with all my heart and I love our two beautiful children and."

"Wait, is this what I think it is?" I cut him off.

I looked at Tea who was beaming.

"Yes Taylor!" I threw my arms around him and squeezed.

"You didn't let me finish." He laughed.

"Oops sorry. Continue." I let him go.

"Will you marry me?" He laughed.

"Yes Taylor Caniff!" I didn't even look at the ring. I jumped on him.

"Yay!" Tea said.

Taylor put me down and gave me the ring.

"I'm so excited!" Tea happy danced with me.

"So there better not be any more grandchildren will at least a year after the wedding." Dad said.

"Yes! I will make sure." Tea assured him.

Taylor winked at me.

"Well, we should probably get going. Matthew will be wondering what's taking us so long." Mom spoke.

"Alrighty. It was nice see you." I hugged her.

"We'll come visit in a few months." Dad said firmly.

"Okay, just call before please." Taylor hugged my mom.

"It was nice seeing you again sir." Taylor shook my dad's hand.

"Next time, not the same reason okay?"

Taylor nodded.

"See you Tea." Mom hugged her.

"Nice to see you mom." She said.

"Bye baby."

She turned to Matt.

"I don't think we've met." Mom points at Matthew.

"Oops. Sorry. This is my boyfriend Matthew."

"Matthew. Nice to meet you." She hugged him.

"Don't you think about getting this one knocked up." Dad looked him straight in the eyes.

Matt gulped. "Yes sir."

"This one is Hayes. He's one of the boys' little brother." I explained.

"How old are you?" Mom asked.

"15 ma'am." Hayes smiled.

"Just a baby. My sons your age." Mom gave him a hug.

"Nice to meet you sir." Hayes shook dad's hand.

Wow these boys got manners.

"Well. I guess good luck." Dad joked with Taylor.

"Yeah, she's a handful and a half, but I think I can handle her." Taylor laughed

"I'll deal with you later." I glared at him.

"Ooh I'm scared." Taylor smirked.

"Bye girls. Love you. Nice meeting and seeing you boys." Mom pushed dad out the door.

You could see everyone relax.

"Well that was interesting." Tea spoke for us all.

"Taylor." I said.

"Yes ba-."

I pulled him by his shirt and crashed my lips into his.

"Vanessa." He moaned, pulling my body closer to him.

"Uhm guys?" Tea said.

I pulled away and looked over Taylor's shoulder.

"Give us five." I grabbed Taylor and pulled him up the stairs.
