Matt's pov.

I saw Vanessa laying there, that was normal. Then I saw a curtain between them. Tea.

I quietly walked past Vanessa, and sat down beside Tea.

There was an I.V. in her arm, and she had on a breathing mask. I was going to ask why, but I'm sure she'll tell me when she wakes.

I sat there just looking at her. After about three minutes, I got up and went to the bathroom.

I looked like a mess. My hair was everywhere, because I slept with my hood on. My hoodie was wrinkled and my basket ball shorts are horrible.

I heard movement, so I carefully opened the door.

"Hello." A little girl said.

"Uhm hey." I stood with my back against the wall.

"I'm Amber!" She smiled.

"My name is Matt." I replied.

"Who are they?" She pointed to the girls.

"This one is Vanessa, and that one is Tea. My girlfriend and her sister." I pointed.

"Did she have a baby?" Amber asked me.

"Vanessa did. Twins." I wasn't sure of what to do. So I stood there.

"Awe how cute!" She hugged herself.

"Did you sleep here?"

I nodded.

She shrugged then skipped over to a chair and sat.

"What?"

I shook my head. "Nothing, I'm just tired."

"Why did you stay?" She asked.

I sat down in the chair closest to Tea, and there was one between us.

"Well. I was here, then I went home for a while, then I came back and I slept here." Last night flashed before my eyes.

"That's not why you stayed." She raised her eyebrows. "What happened to Tia?"

"Well uhm Tea uhm had a panic attack last night after I left and I uhm I wanted to make uhm sure she was alright." I nodded at my word choice.

"That sounds scary. Is she alright?" Amber was sure full of questions.

"Yeah. The doctors fixed her." I smiled at Tea.

Amber swung her legs and started humming.

"So, I don't mean to be rude, but. What are you doing here?" I broke the silence.

"Me? I'm just helping my mom. She's a nurse and I came with her today." She stopped swinging her legs for a second.

"That's cool. Shouldn't you be finding her?" I didn't want to be mean, but a little girl was talking to me. A random little girl.

"My mom said to stay here for a few minutes. She had to go help with something." She continued to swing her legs.

"Oh. Well I guess that's alright." I wiggled in my seat.

"Are you hungry?"

I gave her a weird look. By accident.

She plopped off her chair and went to the little pink back pack in the corner.

"Do you want crackers, chips, sandwich, and I have juice boxes." Amber looked through her bag.

"Uhm no thank you. I'll go downstairs and get food, thanks." I smiled weakly.
