Chapter 31

I stared out the bus window and watched the rain. That was then only thing I could see. I signed and turned to Alby.

"I think I should go talk to Thomas now. Explain everything to him." I said.

"Ok."

He leaned forward and kissed my lips. I loved his kisses. He curled his fingers into my hair and pulled me closer.

"Must you guys always kiss."

Alby broke the kiss and I shoved Minho's face away. Newt started laughing as Minho almost fell out of the seat.

"Must you always interrupt our kissing." I said and stood up.

As I walked to the back of the bus I could hear Newt laughing. Thomas was sitting with Teresa. He head was against the window and was watching me come towards him.

"Teresa came I talk to Thomas please?"

"Sure." She said then got up and moved.

I sat down and stared at the seat in front of me. Neither of us said anything. I took a deep breath and turned to him.

"I understand if you hate me. I just want to tell you that I'm sorry. I'm selfish. I wanted you to remember me before I told you. I didn't want to tell you and have you hate me. I also figured I'd be safe if you don't know who I am because WICKED hates me. But I understand if you hate me. I won't be mad if you do. You should know that I never gave up on trying to get you back." I said.

He didn't move or say anything. Just stared at the seat in front of him.

"So it's ture. Your my sister?"

"Yes. I'm your sister."

He went quiet again. He's going to hate me now. I just now he's going to hate me. I went to get up and leave when he wrapped his arms around me and began to cry.

"Thomas?"

"Chuck is dead. I promised him I would get him out of the maze and back to his mom. He's dead. He jumped in front of the knife that was meant for me." He sobbed.

Nothing I could say was going to make him few better. So I did the only thing that would clam him down.

I started to run my fingers through his hair. He still had his arms around my. He placed his head on my shoulder and so fell asleep.

The bus stopped and the people escorted us into a building. We were taking to a large room that had a bunch of tables sat up.

We were told to sit and they brought pizza and soda out. It's been a long time since I had pizza and I was great.

I sat in between Alby and Owen and Thomas sat across from with Minho next to him. Thomas still seemed a little sad.

"Whose that Emmy girl that your sister was talking about?" Minho asked.

"She was my best friend in my first maze. She was only nine years old when she came up in the box."

"Oh."

After dinner Teresa and I had to be taken to a different room then the boys.
We were taking to a room were bunk beds lined the walls.

"The dresser is full of clothes and the bathroom is through that door." A men said then left the room.

I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom to change. I showered and got dressed and went back to the room. Teresa was sitting on her bed in new clothes.

I walked to the door that lead to the dinning are and tried the knob. The door was locked.

"Why would they lock the door? Is not like we know were we are." I said and turned and sat down on my bed.

"Maybe they don't want the boys to do anything to us."

We both laughed and I laid down and stared at the bunk above. I sorta wished the door wasn't locked. I want to sleep next to Alby.

"Hey, you and Alby look cite together."
Teresa said.

"Thank you."

"Well good night. Maybe tomorrow we can figure out were we are." She said and laid down.

I woke up to banging on the door. I sat up as the door flew open. Teresa sat up to. We were pulled from our beds and were dragged into the dining room.

"Hello Ashton. Nice to see you again." Janson said and smiled at me.

I was then hit in the head my something. I fell to the ground and heard Teresa screaming. Then I closed my eyes and passed out.
