Chapter 14

Tsukishimas POV

When I got to it I didn't expect to find them like this. They looked like they were screaming but no sound made it's way out of their throat. There were tears streaming from their closed eyes. They were shaking so much and had a cold sweat dripping down their face.

I quickly tried to wake them. I shook them and even yelled their name but nothing was working. I was getting really worried so I ran down the aisle to coach Ukai and shook him awake. He grumbled as he woke but as soon as he saw the panic in my eyes he instantly woke up. He stood up and all I had to say was "y/n." And he had already bolted down the aisle.

As soon as he saw y/n he cursed and crouched next to her trembling form. He tried to shake her awake but like what happened with me nothing happened. He quickly tried to call her name each time getting louder.

The team had woke up from the yelling and gathered around to see what was wrong all of them concerned for them just like I was. As soon as Hinata saw them he instantly jumped into the seat with coach Ukai trying to wake them.

I was getting worried about the amount of sweat pouring from them so I told Coach to take off their sweater. He looked conflicted but cursed then took it off also worried about how much water they were losing. So he took it off and we all stared in shock when her arms were shown with only a t-shirt on.

There were so many scares and bruises that looked to just be healing. Most of them were old but some were newer. I heard a stuttered voice and tore my gaze from them to Yamagucci. "H-how did t-t-this hap-pen to y/n?" Ukai looked at Yamagucci and sighed. "Not my story to tell but it's a good part of why they hate talking to people." I hear Yamaguccis breath hitch.

I look back to y/n as Hinata starts whipping the sweat from their face. We all feel the bus come to a stop but no one moves. After about 3 minutes they get worse. It's like they can't even breathe and it broke my heart to see.

Their whole body shaking so violently I worried that they'd damage their brain. I quickly took off my sweater and put it between y/ns head and the seat so they couldn't hit the metal on the inside.

Coach Ukai was looking extremely worried and started to try and shake them again and screamed their name. Finally they jolted awake all of us seeing the terror in their eyes especially when they saw the hands on them.

Coach quickly drew them back and y/n curled in on them self after about a minute they uncurled and looked completely normal with that emotionless face that hid so much pain.

Y/n looked around, stood, and said "Oh we're already back at the school. Good practice game everyone now go home and get some rest." Then they grabbed a sweater put it on and walked out of the bus leaving all of us standing there in shock and worry.

Finally snapping out of it I grab my bag and go to grab my sweater only to see y/ns. I run out of the bus with their sweater and catch up to them. I grab their hand they turn and look at me a flash of fear on their face only to be hidden a second later.

I release them immediately and we awkwardly stand there for a moment till y/n nods to me and turns to leave again. I growl at my idiotic self and quickly go in front of them stopping them again and I ask what's been going through my head since I first saw her. "Are you okay?" I ask and look away embarrassed but in the corner of my eye I see them nod yes but I shake my head and frown at them. "Don't lie to me, are you okay?" They look at me with an unreadable expression slowly shake their head no.

I nod and move out of their way only to start walking next to them moments later. They look at me quizzically but their eyes still void of emotion. They just looked dull. I look forward and put my hands in my pocket. "I'm going to make sure you get home alright." I say and they just give me a curt nod.

Normal POV

Tsukishima and you walk back towards Ukai's store. You aren't sure whether or not you like having Tsukishima here. It was nice to be with someone but that nightmare kept messing around up in your brain.

After about 15 minutes you both are outside the store and you grab your key which causes Tsukishima to give you a confused look. You simply open the door and nod inside letting a questioning look to come to your face hoping he will understand. You would have signed but your hands hadn't stopped shaking.

He looks confused but walks in and You take him to the staircase in the back room. We walk up it and are greeted by papa and Natsu. Tsukishima looks even more confused when You nod to papa as Natsu runs at full force and jumps into your arms. You quickly pull them out of your pockets to catch the exited child. You let a small smile make its way to your face and give her butterfly kisses. Natsu already had a strange power over me that with one hug it made me forget all the problems I had.

Natsu giggles and happily shouts "Y/n nii-chan is home!" Papa laughs and gets up and grabs Natsu from my arms. "Welcome home y/n, oh hi Tsukishima I didn't see you there." Papa says smiling kindly to him. "Huh, oh hey Tsukishima thanks for walking y/n back!" Hinata says climbing up the stairs behind us with dad. I look at Tsukishima who looks so confused. "What the..."
