Chapter 3

"I'm gonna take you to your new room." He says and starts walking to the back of the store and up the stairs still holding your hand.

Ukai follows us and Hinata starts talking again. "You're gonna love it here, actually I'm a foster kid too. But this is probably the best place I can imagine living." You hear Ukai laughing behind you as Hinata continues on.

"Ya and your gonna love papa. He's a teacher and he's really nice. Then there's Natsu she's our little sister she's really sweet and loves volleyball like I do. Oh this is your room here. It was a guest room but now it's all yours."

You open the door and look around your eyes widened.

"This is all for me?" You ask, making Ukai and Hinata confused. "Ya of course it's your room, why wouldn't it be?" Ukai says. You look down a bit and fiddle with your fingers.

"Well it's just, I never had a room. I just slept in the closet so he couldn't see me." Ukai's  and Hinata's eyes widen a bit and have a sad look in them. You start to feel bad that you ruined the mood and look down.

All of a sudden you feel a set of strong arms around you and you stiffen and tremble a little. The arms just get a little tighter and you look up seeing Ukai.

You make yourself relax and you rest your head on his chest. "I wanna hug y/n too!" Hinata says walking over and wrapping his arms around you too. You were confused but it felt warm and safe. It made you smile slightly again.

After about 30 seconds they let go and you finally ask what had been confusing you.

"Umm Hinata what's a hug?"

They both look at each other then at you. You get slightly nervous and start to fiddle your thumbs again. "A hug is what we just did!?" Hinata tells you. "Oh ok I kinda like them." You say laughing nervously.

All of a sudden Hinata jumps on you hugging you again. This time you don't flinch instead it makes you smile. Ukai laughs, not missing a beat and grabs his phone taking a picture.

Hinata laughs and you start to as well.

-I haven't felt like this for a long time. I'm actually smiling and laughing. I'm happy.-

"Hi we're home!" Yelled a voice from the door. It startled you and you flinched. Hinata let you go to look down the stairs.

Both Ukai and Hinata looked happy.

You backed farther into your room and just stay standing there. As You watched the stairs a man with messy black hair, brown eyes, and glasses can up. Behind him came a little girl with bright orange hair, and a huge smile plastered to her face.

She looked like a mini hinata and I realized she was Natsu and the man must be papa. (Hinata never did mention his actual name.)

You stood there as they greeted each other. Natsu running up and jumping on Hinata. He picked her up and hugged her tight both smiling happily.

While the man and Ukai gave each other a small hug and a quick kiss. You watched the interaction curiously wondering what you should do.

That's when little Natsu raised her head off of Hinata's shoulder, and looked you right in the eyes. She tilted her head to the side.

You started to fidget and twirl your fingers at her gaze. She struggled in Hinata's arms so he put her down. She then ran at you and hugged your legs and you stiffen.

She looked up at you smiling."Hellooo who are you!!" Now everyone turned back towards you. You look at the little girls smile then back up at everyone else. "I-I'm y/n." You bow your head shaking a little. You always hated attention.

"Oh hello there, I didn't know we had a guest over. I sincerely apologize. My name is Takeda." The man with glasses said.

You look down slightly at Natsu. You're slightly shaking and twirling your fingers in discomfort.

Hinata notices and runs and picks up Natsu. She whines but she stays in Hinata's arms.

"Um babe can I talk to you for a minute." Ukai says and he and Takeda walk away.
