If you are an author on wattpad, you sometimes just disappear after saying you will upload more chapters too lol, dont lie.

Anyways sorry, i am using my sound recording tech laptop THAT HAS A WORKING KEYBOARD yay.

Fun fact, my music composition teacher is a composer. No, they are not a big famous composer like John Williams, lol.

Anyway, onto the story

Paimon and I started to head down the mountain, passing a sleepy Aether.

"Paimon was gonna ask him about where to find the Adeptus," Paimon commented, "But... he seems pretty one-track-mind about rescuing his brother right now."

"Yeah," I replied, "I feel him."

Paimon hummed, "So, he said that Li Dang got trapped in amber somewhere on Mt. Hulao, and that they were following the path the whole way up."

"Yeah, following the path we used should be best."

After breaking a few ambers, we found a man inside one, assuming it's Li Dang. He started coughing.

I dropped my claymore to pull him out, "Sir! Are you okay?"

He started panting, "Wh-What happened? ...You rescued me? Thank you..."

"Here, drink this!" Paimon got into my bag and pulled out a bottle of water. She handed it to him.

The man took 3 gulps of water. He wiped his mouth to remove some water that escaped. "Thank you two...Oh! And have you seen my brother? His name is Li Ding, we were climbing the mountain together." He then sighed, "I just hope he didn't get trapped in amber too..."

"Sir, don't worry." I gave him a gentle smile, "He is the one who sent us looking for you."

"Yeah!" Paimon exclaimed, "He is at the top of the mountain as we speak!"

"He made it to the top? That means he should be okay!" He sighed in relief.

"Let us escort you up there!" I pulled him up for him to stand up, "We don't want you to get trapped again!"

"Li Ding!" Li Dang exclaimed as he ran up towards him.

As soon as he got close, Li Ding grabbed him by the shoulders, "Li Dang! You're okay!" He then turned to us, "Thank you for rescuing my brother, O mighty messengers of the illuminated adepti!" He clasped his hands and bowed slightly, his brother followed suit.

"You are welcome!" I smiled. "Since we are here, Have you seen the Adeptus here?"

"Oh... I mean, we folk believe they live here, but us normal folks like us would never have the chance to meet them!" He answered, "But you two are adepti messengers, so it is a whole different story."

"Oh, I see." Paimon commented, "But thank you for answering honestly!"

"Anyway, we have trespassed in the realm of the adeptus for long enough. We should get going." He turned to his brother, they both nodded to each other. Then they both turned to us, "Thank you, mighty adepti messengers!" Then they ran off.

I waved them goodbye and Paimon cutely waved as well.

"...Boy, it'd be super helpful if we actually were adepti messengers." Paimon commented, "'Cause it seems like this adeptus has got a real temper problem..."
